Charlestown Coffee & Cream

With being a new establishment there will be kinks. Just getting started is not easy. Very friendly environment. The coffee is great and the variety of ice cream is crazy. We wish you all the luck.

We have tried this place twice, both times we have had VERY bad experiences, first time out of 5 drinks order only 1 was right, second time going my daughters were there for over 20 mins waiting on their drinks, my daughter called me to tell me how they were going to be late for school so I try to call the coffee shop 3 times and no one answered, the girl making my daughters drink told the other girl not to answer the phone because she knew I was calling. This is not good customer service all around, which is sad. I am sorry for an new establishment they should always have someone there that knows what they are doing. It stinks, we needed a good place in Charlestown for the kids to go to before school, but apparently this will not be the place.

I've only had one iced coffee/ triple shot. I tasted more chocolate/ flavor than espresso. I prefer a more authentic taste

I have mostly good things to say about this place.

Firstly, I was pleasantly surprised when we parked. The company’s Facebook page had posted recently warning visitors parking may be a challenge given the limited amount of spaces on the square. We went on a warm Saturday afternoon and didn’t have any trouble finding a front-row spot.

My only real “complaint” is moreso a warning in regards to bang for your buck. DO NOT visit this restaurant expecting the colossal, near overflowing scoops of ice cream you're used to seeing at larger chains. They scoop true scoops, what fits inside the spoon without heaping out is what they call a scoop. I was surprised when I was handed a “double scoop” of ice cream that looked like about a normal scoop Id get at Chillers or the likes.

HOWEVER, I will say, the ice cream is DELICIOUS. You can absolutely tell that it is premium quality ice cream when you taste it, very rich and dense flavor.

In short, we’ll be going back for sure, and remaining optimistic they might get a little heavier handed with their portion sizes. It was a very clean and friendly environment, and I could see myself hanging out with some buds and playing Catan there.

Wonderful place to enjoy ice cream and coffee and let the kids play while you decompress. Highly recommend!!

I rarely write a review but since I live in Charlestown grew up around here felt.needed to write one my son and I decided to try Coffee and cream coffee shop I must say we were very disappointed we ordered what we usually get at Star Bucks nothing even close the coffee was hardly warm just $1.00 cheaper was a waste could say a lot more but will not recommend it and will not go back will not go back there I do wish the coffee shop best of luck

The ice cream is super delicious, the lattes are creamy and the employees are very nice.
