I love this place. I had an amazing pour-over coffee that was made with both science and delicate care. I will say the menu is very basic and they don’t have a lot of extras like stevia, etc. But what they lack in options they more than make up for in precision. Here coffee feels like an art rather than a sugary treat.

Simple menu, tasty coffee, welcoming atmosphere and many seatings available

First time here. Met outside, for an interview. Friendly staff. Staff all had a mask on. Plenty of space, between outdoor seating. Clean. Quaint little shop.

Environment is really nice and the dog is super cute for their logo, but the regular brewed coffee is not that great. Unimpressive and expensive. A bold dark roast would be great. Not sure what this coffee is though. Poured mine out.

I love this place!!! I live downtown but frequently drive up to Carmel just for Indie. After seeing me around for a bit, the baristas have taken the time to get to know me and I feel so welcomed each time I come in. Their classes are also super informative and fun. The quality of the product is also unmatched. Keep it up guys :)

Everyone brought their exceptionally well behaved dogs for a wonderful outdoor experience. Great location and the tea and scones were delicious. Street parking was ample. Choose over a chain shop any day. It took a long time to get my mint tea. I was getting irritated then checked and they were hand pressing the mint. By far the best tea I’ve ever had. I will recommend to everyone!! It’s worth the wait.

I used to live right by and would frequent this coffee shop. Coffee is great and the baristas were very good and friendly.

Carmel needed Indie Coffee Roasters. Sure, the city needs more coffee in general, but Carmel struck gold with Indie Coffee.
The coffee itself is roasted in-house and is phenomenal. Definitely some of the best in all of Indy. I normally just get a drip coffee, but I've had just about every coffee on pour over, and I'm always disappointed when my cup is finished.
The staff, however, is definitely the selling point. They could be serving Folgers, and I still would show up for the hospitality. Everyone at Indie Coffee is so warm and welcoming, and I am so glad to have gotten to know them since they've been open.
The space is also beautiful. Indie Coffee has a very strong, bright, friendly brand that is incorporated throughout every detail of the space. There's loads of room for seating at tables, the bar, and big comfy chairs. The environment brings in the best of people who are always willing to share a table when the space is packed.
I just love it. Everything about it.

I was in Carmel on a business trip and found them based on convenience and ease of parking. It was pretty busy when I was in, and the staff were very nice. The espresso is very good. There are many coffee bars in the big city where I live, and Indie Coffee Roasters has got to be one of the better of the ones I've sampled. They genuinely appreciated my patronage.

Great little cafe. Coffee was well-prepared, space was clean, and the baked goods are out of this world. I wish the roaster wasn't around because it takes a lot of potential seating and can smell like burnt toast. Overall, highly recommend.
