Bobber's Cafe at Shadyside Bait & Tackle

This little restaurant hidden in Shadyside is absolutely amazing. The owner is a very nice lady who catered to our every need. The food was perfect and well priced. We were lucky enough to be there on a day when they had caramel apples which were to die for. If it's warm enough when you go I highly suggest setting outside and watching The Wild Life or enjoying a cool breeze. Is an amazing experience I will be back there again soon. Thank you for being there.

You would never expect how good the food is here. I had the tenderloin sandwich and it was the best I've ever tried. The owner and staff are very accommodating and everyone is very nice. It is relaxing to sit on the patio and look out over the lake while you eat. As an added bonus, you can also buy fishing bait there too.

I have been hearing about the biscuits and gravy from Bobber's and finally tried them today. They are every bit as good as I had heard! Other reviews say the coffee is great, but I thought it was a little weak.
There is inside seating for about 20 people, plus lots of outdoor seating. Some of the outdoor seating is under a roof, and you can see the lake from just about anywhere you sit. It is a rustic place (it is in the old bait and tackle shop, thus the name). Good prices, friendly people. Definitely glad I gave them a try!

Great food and view of the water and wildlife

My son and I both ordered the breaded tenderloins. The sandwiches were huge and had amazing flavor! Tenderloin was crisp on the outside and juicy on inside for a perfect combination of yum! Aubrey was our server and she did a great job.

We have been walking at the Shadyside park for years and I have always wanted to stop here. Today we finally did and ordered a simple grilled cheese and fries. It was exactly what two exhausted hikers and their dogs needed. The grilled cheese was so cheesy, I a cheese lover had to take a little of it off. I was so full and happy! And we could sit outside with our dogs!

Nice service, great ice cream

This place is terrific. Great people and great food. I met some out of town friends for a quick bite. They loved their food and the location. I had a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy and apple crisp. The B and B challenged mine- it was that good. And the HOMEMADE apple crisp was warm and tasty. nom!

Man the smothered biscuit breakfast was the bomb!! Excellent taste and if you go away hungry it's your own famn fault.

My husband and I went there for a quick lunch on 1/3/22…Best breaded tenderloin and the crispiest fries I ever ate!! Fast and nice service from Mark!!😀
