Caffe Paradiso

Great internet cafe. They have free internet, places to plug your laptop in if needed, and super-friendly helpful staff. Price is quite reasonable as well. They also have awesome bathroom art. Well, at least in the guys bathroom; I'm not sure about the girls bathroom. Food is very good, and they offer a good variety of sandwiches and coffee, among other things. I'm happy I found this place!

A good selection of standard espresso drinks that are typically decently well made compared to the other options in town, but a nice if café-priced meal selection including vegetarian options. Personally I like their teas the best with some of the best herbal teas in town (they extend beyond the standard chamomile, roobois, and lemon ginger that are common)

I went with the barista rec of a peppermint tea, and it was amazing! Like the vibe in here too, seems like a great place to work on assignments as a student, and you're supporting local!

Alright this place is the worst coffee shop in CU.

WAIT you say I love this place! I get it. It's a cool space and they make alright coffee.

HOWEVER, there are better places for whatever you want out of a coffee place.

Kopi is a cooler place and has a better vibe.

The Flying Machine coffee place in downtown Urbana has WAY better coffee. (Bonus: Pizza M is off the hook)

Espresso Royale is all over the place and has faster service.

Every other place is cheaper by a mile.

Finally the service at this place is the worst. Just half a hour ago I walked in to get a coffee for my walk back home. I waited at the counter for a good 5 minutes while one employee chatted with a woman and the other stacked cups. I coughed, said excuse me nothin playing they were determined to ignore me.

I realized after leaving without my coffee that this was about par for the course here. The staff is frankly terrible. The coffee is pretty uneven and about half the time you get the feeling your imposing on the staff's free time.

Now that I can go to Flying Machine in Urbana or Kopi in Champaign there is no earthly reason I have to feel crummy every time I want a espresso. Goodby Paradiso you are the worst coffee place in CU and I don't have to put up with you any more.

A wonderful selection of food, pastries, desserts, and, very importantly, drinks. I have had countless coffees and teas here, and the atmosphere is generally great for simple studying, reading, or meeting with friends.

Good vibe, good coffee, even has a nice selection of games.

The staff are super friendly and the food and drinks are always fantastic!! It was a super home-y vibe and is an awesome place to study on campus! Plus free WiFi is always great!!

I would not recommend coming here. There is never a table open so good luck if you have a party bigger than 3. The food was very basic and overpriced. They got our order wrong and rushed us when ordering. The menu options are also very minimal.

Would not recommend at all, take your money elsewhere.
