Great place to eat the walleye special on Friday as far as I am concerned!!.. they give you a mound of fresh walleye fried to perfection.. also with a big mound of french fries..
The place is always kept very clean.. plus the waitresses are quick and efficient!!...
I personally rate it right up there with one of the best places to eat lunch in Springfield... and at a good price too!!

The food is okay. Most staff are worse. One of the servers, tall and skinny, nearly faught a customer in the DRIVE THRU FROM THE WINDOW!! My roommates and I politely paid for our food and left immediately. One of my roommates sent her food back three times. They eventually got it right and gave it to her for free but the fight ruined it

Better horseshoes than Darcy's and Dublin. A wide menu with everything from fried chicken to meatloaf to Belgian waffles to Eggs Benedict (breakfast served all day). Not a ton of seating and the whole place could use some polish, but the prices are fair and the food is great and the servers are always upbeat.

Love Sunrise! The waitresses are super friendly. Sunrise gets busy during my lunch hour but I've never been mate getting back to work. Food is super good! I go at least once a week.

The Perfect Sunrise Cafe would be a better name! And for many reasons. Bright, laid back, & always clean, atmosphere is perfect for eating alone or with your circle. Such a wide variety to choose from, from breakfast to dinner.. (both offered all day long).. everyone is sure to find a favorite. Friendly & knowledgeable staff, serving up perfectly cooked "happiness". If you're just wanting to grab something to go after a long day, or.. craving the food, just not the experience..then hit the drive thru. It's not fast food, so call it in. Now , that is just PERFECT!!!!

They have good food and some good specials like the Friday All You Can Eat Walleye or Catfish. It's not the cheapest place in town but it is a local place that's been around for as long as I can remember and totally worth the price. They can get fairly busy and parking is limited so it's good to get there early. If you don't want to wait though you can call ahead and pick it up in the drive thru which is nice.

I am not from the area but I have a family member in the hospital and have been living off fast food for the last few weeks. I was so excited to find the sunrise cafe. The food is amazing and the staff has been so friendly and supportive.

One of the best places in town for a good meal with plenty to eat and the service is always good!!

Service was top notch! Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and sausage patties were solid American diner fare. Can't go wrong with this place. Will visit again and recommend to friends.
