Wally's

2nd review - they have 1 EV charging station back working out of 4 stations. I have hope they resolve the other 3 stations. This is the only "fast" charging station between Joliet and Bloomington. It comes in clutch during the winter so it's really important they keep them in service. Yes, it's only 50kw station, but bright side there is plenty to entertain yourself with in the store.

It is a huge store with great selection. We had the pulled pork (yum) and beef brisket sandwiches with homemade chips. The self serve soda selection is amazing. We also bought popcorn, which was good, but a small bag for $3. Overall impressive store, but prices for what we bought were definitely on the high side.

This is THE road trippers haven. Imagine a large, clean, space with everything you would want to eat or snack on while driving. HUGE selections of sweet, savory, salty, deli, pre made packaged, and drinks of all kinds are right there. They also have wonderful photo ops, an amazing gift/souvenir shop, and restrooms with the most incredible faucets I have ever seen! Everything you need to wash your hands - water, soap, and air dryer is out of the same piece of hardware over the sink! We loved Wallys and will always pull over when we see one.

I've been meaning to stop in at Wally's, I drive by it on I-55 usually once a week so I finally got off the highway to check it out. This place is HUGE! it has so much to offer for the on the go on the road people, give it a try. I stopped in during the wee... Hours of the morning, it was very foggy, the staff was friendly 😎👍 I will stop in more often.

Stopped at the new Wally's today. Gas price was in line for the area. Incredible selection of food choices. ANYTHING you could possibly need on a trip, they have: clothes, camping, sundries, auto etc. Bathrooms were very large and sparkling clean. Prices inside were a tad high, but the convenience of a one stop for everything makes it worth it.

Is it a gas station? A food court? A grocery store? A place to buy all of your Christmas gifts? Yes to all of the above.

If you're anywhere near Pontiac, do yourself a favor and go to Wally's...you won't regret it!

I'm a trucker, so stop at a lot places. Wally's by far the best place EVER!! Large store with a variety of competitively priced merchandise. But for me and my wife it's the cleanliness. Both the store and bathrooms are super clean. Will definitely make this place to always stop!

A pretty neat place, and the first new "Route 66 attraction" to come along in decades, but be warned: while the food is good, there's no place to eat it. We stopped by, picked up a delicious brisket sandwich, and found that there wasn't even an outdoor picnic table on-site (we asked at the check-out counter, and were told there was nothing). We ended up sitting on the concrete with our backs resting on a lamppost. I guess the management assumes people will eat in their vehicles--not a workable alternative if you're on a motorcycle, or for that matter if you have small children with you. Shame, because the food is good and the place is a neat kitschy stop.

This place is magical. I feel like I could just swim in a sea of Wallys gas stations. It’s like church and have an all at once. Good Christian women serving food to poor and desolate patrons.
