Dec 4, 2021 – Double dash burger, OMG. If you like burgers, you'll need to get this. This was quite a brunch. One World at West Maine in Peoria has this amazing all day breakfast menu, burgers, pizzas, and so much more.
What we have here is a double dash burger, 1/2 lb burger, 1/2 lb gyros, American cheese 🧀 and an over medium egg 🥳🎉🥳🎉

2020 – Muffins smothered in sausage gravy with eggs over medium (extra). Second pic is a close-up of the gooey egg yolk over the sausage gravy and muffins.

Food was great, service not so good. It started out good but after taking our order didnt see waitress again till we had issue. She didn't check on us, someone else brought us our food and when u asked what happened to the appetizer they knew nothing. They offered to make it after our food was there, but we were eating already. Manager did come out and offer same thing or make it to go. Finally waitress came back and said cooks never made it. Sorry, the waitress should check on her tables and dishes. Will return and try again.

Excellent food and drink selection (both alcoholic and N/A). The Cubano pizza was INCREDIBLE, hummus & spinach artichoke dip appetizer sampler was great too. I can understand why native Peorians were so eager to get me here 😊

Very good food. Decent prices. Wait staff was amazing. I had a texture issue with the eggplant lasagna and they switched my meal with no problem. Spinach and artichoke dip was soooo delicious. The portions are huge! Will come again.

Great place to eat! Our waiter was Jeffrey and he was simply amazing! Very friendly atmosphere and great food! I had chicken Alfredo and my husband had the Cuban pork sandwich with bacon cheese fries and we were both very pleased! Highly recommend!

Had a great Double Dare Burger, loaded with bacon and cooked to perfection. One of the best burgers I’ve had here in Peoria.
Killer Bloody Mary and selection of tap beers on point.
A little pricey for the burger, I think a couple dollars less would have been better. I don’t mind paying for a good burger, but it should max out at about $10-$12.
The Cajun pasta with shrimp was good along with the mac’n cheese.
Location is good and the atmosphere reminiscent of The Austin scene we’re used to.
Will be back.

Stopped in here for brunch, the Elvis waffle was a true Belgium waffle with delicious peanut butter cream. My partner enjoyed the chorizo scramble. Service was excellent, cool vibes and decor choices. Generous portions and reasonable prices

Every single time I come back to Illinois, I have to go to One World!!! They have the best spinach artichoke that I have ever had anywhere! The menu has something for everyone & it never disappoints.

Disappointed in overall quality of my meal

One World is out of this world.
Think of your local town or area. Now think of a place where young hip people go. Now think of menu items that are unique and around $10. Are you imagining a place or something similar? If so, that is what One World is like. That’s not a bad thing by any means. That’s just how One World feels when you visit.
Matt, his friend, Tim, Kim and myself descended upon One World for dinner on this mid-winter evening. The parking for One World and the surrounding area is rather limited. There was parking along the street but I think that is gone now. So, your best bet is to park across the street at CampusTown and play Frogger as you try to cross the worst intersection in Peoria.
I had heard that One World has a hipster/snobbish vibe to it and upon entering, I definitely felt it. It’s not an unwelcome feeling by any means but one that is impossible to not feel. We were seated at a table and I was instantly distracted by the decor of the place. Our table was against the wall and that was covered in a painting from top to bottom, side to side. This easily distracted me throughout the meal as I tried to take it all in and see all the details. A futile attempt but attempted nonetheless.
Since I’ve been here quite a few times, I will be talking in general for the next little bit. The menu here is unique as One World itself. It seems that every time I’ve come here, the menu has changed or adjusted in some way. They even have a menu for vegans or gluten-sensitive people. Now, as for the offerings on the menu, they do have some standard items you can find at most restaurants but they also have a lot of unique or specialty things that seem unique to One World. Instead of writing paragraphs about their food offerings, check their website below to view their menus.
Each time I’ve come here, the hipster ambience has been a part of the experience. I’m not sure if that was their goal when opening the place but it has definitely stuck. What also hasn’t changed is the deliciousness of their food. That keeps my once-a-year visit exciting as I know the consistence will be the same each time.
One World, while a bit pricey and having a unique atmosphere, is well worth playing Frogger for. Just be careful crossing the terrible intersection.
