Leaves 'n Beans Coffee

I have gone there 3 times now and all but once was disappointing. I was really excited to try this place after the hype I've heard but now have been really disappointed and I will be sharing my experiences with others. One time I ordered a muffin and a iced drink, decaf. They gave me a hot drink and caffeinated. This last time I ordered the white Christmas latte. It looked nothing like they pictured on social media. The girls were also very rude even after I said thank you and didn't wanna make a big deal about my order being wrong today. We also stood at the counter waiting to order for a good 10 minutes before anybody even acknowledged us. They did see us standing at the counter prior and never said "we will be right there" or anything to assure we would be taking care of soon. My son had a game and I was late to it for this reason. I will stick with Starbucks.

This is such a quaint coffee shop. Love the atmosphere and the coffee is amazing. Haven't had any food items yet, but each item I've seen someone order has looked good. Definitely recommend!

This place continues to have terrible management but puts all the blame on the staff. The best employees get treated the worst while the ones who call off or are late every shift are worshipped. Last but not least, the drinks are bad and overpriced.

This place used to be amazing. I was very excited to not have to go to Starbucks anymore to get subpar coffee. Coming here daily was a treat. However the last few months has been very disappointing in the consistency of the food and coffee. It shouldn't take 30-45 minutes to pick up a mobile order, nor should it take 20 minutes for a food item in store. I understand places are understaffed and training takes time, but then the question becomes what process improvements can be made to help the current staff. I want this place to survive as Pekin needs more small business, but right now, I don't know if I will come back for a while.

They are super friendly and make sure you have what you need. Fast and breaky was great coffee is amazing as well and have a lot of options.

The only thing I can say that needs work is sometimes the Java Freeze isn't blended enough but I know it can be hard to decide to blend it more and over blend or not. Other than that the staff is amazing. All the girls are so polite and friendly. The drinks taste amazing. Anyone I talk to that goes there has nothing but great things to say. Also Charla "sorry if I spelled it wrong" is the sweetest woman. She is the manager and when I had an error with my account she fixed it fast. She communicated with me about the fix and told me to save her number in case we have any future issues. 100% support local. I love this place and so to my kiddos. We are actually heading there now before they go to school since they love their smooties. Which I order a large and ask them to split it since my kids won't both drink a small. They give me no grief and are happy to do so. 😁😁😁

Today I went in and waited longer than one should. I could hear one of the workers loudly on speaker phone and she had no care for the customers. After the lady gave me my drink she seemed annoyed and gave me a dirty look. After this experience, I will never be coming back. I thought it would be nice to support a local business but after that service, no thanks. Every job I have ever had has never allowed the employees to act like this. Do better.

Great coffee and always served with a smile…. One of my favorite stops. And they have so many sugar free options too 👍
