Awesome breakfast spot, after the renovation and expansion the whole place looks awesome, and the food is delicious as always.

Loved the food. Wait was reasonable for such good food and service! Can't wait to come back.

Food it's good but the reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because they forgot to give me utensils, it's important because you don't know if I'm going to the park, school, hospital, or any other place that it will be nearly impossible to get a fork or spoon.

Absolutely the best omelette I have ever had. My brother and I went and he had one of the Skillets and raved about it. I can't wait to come back. Melissa our waitress was extraordinary. Very nice addition in Oak Lawn

Wait staff was friendly and helpful. I had pancakes, just the buttermilk ones and my wife had banana bread french toast. I should have gotten three stacks of the hot cakes because I couldn't finish the five I got. Food was good and if I'm back in oak lawn I would go back for sure. Parking was good. There is a lot in the back. Place was busy but not cluttered. Clean with good food.

I allowed them one star to be able to post a review. Let me say , this was my first and last time I spend one red cent at this " Family Owned " Est. The service today was horrible. After 45 min wait we arrived to check-in booth, where we encountered an extremely rude hostess (elderly woman) we let that go and moved on. We were finally seated , greeted and sat for another 30-40 minutes. Our waitress finally took our order. It took another 15 minutes for our one strawberry lemonade to arrive and another 35 minutes for our food to be served. When our food arrived, the meat was overcooked and tough... eww!! Our 2nd order of hasbrowns never came and neither did our side order of pancakes. when the hasbrowns were served they were undercooked, can we say tummy ache?
At that point we were fed up. We kindly explained to the waitress and asked for cooked hashbrowns and better steak. She attempted to fix the situation by offering courtesy soup. It was a nice gesture, but all we wanted was our order to be served properly.

By the end of our meal, we asked to speak to a manager. As soon as she came out she did not allow us to speak. She accused us of lying and said we were being difficult. She was the owner and Manager, most likely daughter to the rude hostess and mother to the waitress. The tone and example she sets in her business allowes her "Employees" to treat patrons like trash. I cannot believe these people are in the hospitality business. They can have money for four walls, but the money won't buy them etiquette and respect for others.
We never asked for anything to be free nor were were rude. All we wanted was our food to be properly served after one hour wait for a skillet a 10 year old can throw together like they did. Spend your money at the Original Pancake House or at The Krave, were the service, food and people are phenomenal.

Great service and GREAT food! There’s a variety of toppings for pancakes, it’s amazing! They also give a large amount of all the food so you get your money’s worth!

My husband and I ate at this location and it was awesome. It was very busy (for good reason). Every employee we interacted with was so nice. Our server was sweet, friendly, and attentive! My husband had a breakfast burrito with hash browns. I had the original eggs Benedict with roasted red potatoes. We also split an order of biscuits and gravy. Everything was fantastic, even the coffee! I'm sure we will be back 😄
