Sissy's- A Sweet Shoppe

I wouldn't leave metropolis without visiting Sissy's. They have something for every sweet tooth and the prices are beyond reasonable. I loved my toasted marshmallow mocha. There was old fashioned ice cream, delicious cookies and cupcakes and rolls and muffins. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome.

We heard the rainbow butter cookie, pineapple mango cupcake and wedding cake cupcake. It was all super delicious!!! The staff were beyond friendly and really sweet and helpful! The store itself is really cute inside and designed creatively and aesthetically pleasing. It was a great stop!

Food and coffee was really good, but a bit pricey

Friendly service 2 thumbs up, ice cream & the fudge = yummmmy, and the building and decor = pleasant & comfortable! Dfntly will be back again!

Excellent cafe and sweet shoppe located just a block away from the Superman statue. Sets the standard, locally, not just for coffee, but lattes, cookies, fudge, ice-cream, box lunches, and much more. Don't miss this shop if you come to Metropolis. You will regret it! Best coffee in town!

I love this place! Baked goods are great. Coffee is best in town. The building is cool. People are wonderful. There is nothing here not to love.

We stopped here after a photo with Superman - it’s just a few minutes’ walk away. Delicious coffee and very nice and engaging staff. Definitely support this woman-owned local business! We’ll be back if/when we drive though again.

Cupcakes and cake for our wedding day were just as beautiful as they were delicious. Kim and Allison are the greatest! Thank you for everything.

Very tasty cookies. Nice outdoor seating if you wanted and several treat options. Cute little location near Superman statue, museum and little shops.
