This is going to be my new to go coffee place not only were they fast and efficient. The girls at the counter were very entergetic happy and very accommodating when it came to my coffee order I highly suggest this place get rid of Starbucks and Dunkin and go here because your coffee won’t be watered down or messed up!
We were really excited to try out a new place. We were left waiting for our 4 drinks for over a half hour which understandably may take a little longer. The thing that didn’t sit well with us was that everyone who arrived after us was at least getting part of their order or got all of it before we got our drinks. When we asked about our drinks we were met with the same amount of service that we were left with before.
I was very excited to try Tazza out! I am an avid coffee lover who has worked in the business for almost 10 years and I always support local small shops. I attempted to try a latte today, expecting a long wait on opening weekend and packing my patience to support a new business getting their bearings. However, I did not expect to see a complete disregard from staff on health and safety standards of product used to make beverages. As I was in the shop I observed milk (dairy and alternatives) left out and uncapped for over 20 minutes, that was then used to make beverages served to customers. Who knows how long it was out before I arrived. Dry ingredients used were left uncovered and on the counter in front of customers. No hand washing by staff between handling money and customer products. I unserstand there is a lot thst needs to come together in a new business. However, you can't make people sick in the meantime.
It's okay, coffee was decent. Ordered a small oat milk (was given and charged for a medium) iced latte and a large plain black coffee for $8.88. Seems steep. 38 minute wait for coffee but opening week.
My issue is this -- oat milk $0.50 upcharge (not specified anywhere), large black drip coffee $1.00 upcharge (not specified anywhere), medium rather than small - latte $0.50 upcharge (not specified anywhere). I expected a charge for oat milk only.
Did the math on the menu board and it should be $6. Charged $8 with these upcharges - maybe list them so customers know what they're paying for. They also don't give you a receipt unless you ask, seems kind of shady.
Definitely banking on Starbucks customers expensive coffee orders and not caring/paying attention to what they pay. Menu board makes prices look reasonable, but not so.
