Amazing place, great coffee and great staff! They roast their own coffee. Ample space to sit and enjoy your coffee. Very reasonable prices as well. This is the last coffee shop to grab some before you go to the beach. Would highly recommend the place

Found this place by happenstance and was so glad I did! I had a nonfat café miel and it was delicious. Someone at another table got tea and received a little teapot for it - adorable touch! They are dog friendly, so I was able to see a few furry friends as I worked. Free parking on Sundays, so this will likely become my new Sunday coffee shop. It’s located in the Ravinia District, so it has a smaller and homier feel compared to downtown HP. I will definitely be back!

Astra Coffee is wonderful place for community and coffee to come together. The winter speciality drink menu provided variety and so many fun options to celebrate the season. I enjoyed the Reindeer Tracks oatmilk latte which was the perfect blend chocolate and toffee nut. Id highly recommend it.

Astra had a great atmosphere with local art as decor. This is a great local place to enjoy a great brew and catch up with friends!

Awesome coffee shop in the Ravinia subdivision/ business district of Highland Park right across from jens Jensen park. My FAVORITE. It’s an In house roastery done with such love and care. They even have a peaberry option of whole beans you can purchase which is very well priced. Yum !

The drinks are always made perfectly and precisely. The space is open and inviting with minimal and elegant decor. They have a great expansive drink menu and some great hot chocolate old fashioned made from scratch. This coffee shop has to do well with its quality and AMAZINGLY FRIENDLY team that always brings a smile to your face. This is the place to hang out for your morning cup of joe.

Oh goodness, did we need this place in the North Shore. I had a latte on my very first visit here and it was one of the best lattes I’ve had the pleasure trying (and I tried many). To top the experience, the foam art was also outstanding, so much so I felt bad having it in a to go cup! I’ll take a picture on my next visit - there sure will be many!

They roast and serve great coffee! They have non dairy options for milk and great pastries from Benisons bakery in Evanston.

They have great staff and of course amazing location with patio seating.

We’re all so grateful to have a new coffee shop in Ravinia and hope they stay long!

I was so excited when they just opened and had great light roast beans. I send lots of friends over there and was surprised that they didn't like it. Today I understood. No light roast and coffee has that gas station taste. Gave them tips anyway. Location and girls a good on the positive note.
