Cozy shop in quaint and quiet downtown Grayslake. Great selection of home baked goodies and quite extensive food and drinks menu. My cappuccino was excellent. Offers outside seating.

One of my favorite coffee shops. Best chai latte around. Good food as well. Convenience factor, not so great. But when I have time to actually stop and get coffee or whatever, this is my go to.

This is a fun little coffee shop. The coffee and treats are great. The staff can be a little abrupt occasionally, but most of the time they are friendly. The food is decent and I have eaten there a few times since.

This is a franchise? No way! Great and huge sampling of food fare plus an eclectic array of teas and coffee. No complaints, ever!

My first time in, I had a bagel breakfast sandwich and a fancy hot tea. Everything was fantastic! portions were generous , employees were friendly, it's also a nice candy shop.

My favorite local coffee shop. Sandwhiches are really good! The selection they have can be very intimidating but everything I've ever had has been great. My favorite drink is the carmel latte, they call it a carmelious? Spelling may be off. A must go in the area.

I always have wonderful experiences at Something's Brewing. I frequent the downtown location. My favorite drink, Chococonut, is consistently delicious! My second favorite menu item are the Sweet Tater Babies, they are seasoned well and cooked to just the right tenderness. I love the small town atmosphere at the downtown location, most folks know each other there, and there's lots of "Norm" like greetings from tables.

This place has an extensive menu and all the ingredients are very fresh. The bakery items look homemade and delicious. The staff is super friendly too. I highly recommend the Asian chicken salad.

Love everything I have ever ordered from Something's Brewing. That includes but is not limited to the coffee, breakfast, lunch, muffins, and desserts. Don't be intimidated by the large menu, just look at it one section at a time.

First — the coffee and deserts are excellent. Absolutely awesome. Unfortunately the service is terrible. No one smiles, or greets you, or makes you feel welcome. My wife and I have experienced this three times in a row now. The first two times we finally just left because we stood at the counter for five minutes as the barista worked on an order without saying a word — no “I’ll be with you in a minute” or ANYTHING. This time the lady said “I’ll be with you as soon as I’m done” but with zero enthusiasm. I compare the experience to getting coffee at the DMV. If they could be friendly, enthusiastic and not in autopilot — we’d be here way more often.
