Caffeine & Carbs

In town for a couple days and stopped by in the morning for coffee and some cookies and coffee cakes. First time visiting, so new to me. Daughters tea was almost too hot. Oldest daughters coffee was fine. Enjoyed the oatmeal raisin cookie it was delicious just needed to be warmed slightly.. Chocolate chip coffee cake had a good flavor but was a little dry. Nice decor and a fair amount of seating. There was a nice group of older ladies enjoying their coffee clutch this morning solving problems. The valentine cake and cupcake display looked really good. Give them a try.

They hands down are better than Starbucks in my opinion. Best caramel macchiato I’ve had yet which makes me coming back for more. I love the friendliness of the staff and that they just know as a new momma I need a early morning and sometimes even mid day pick me up and these drinks always hit the spot! Highly recommend. Also don’t forget to try those Lemon 🍋 Blueberry 🫐 scones! They are to die for 😋

This darling little shop is full of delicious treats. My children enjoyed the hot chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies. My favorite was the sweater weather latte with a
molasses cookie. Staff was sweet too and entertained my 5 year olds questions about all the coffee machines and syrups.

My mornings are just not the same without my morning jolt and sweet treat or bagel. The employees are extremely friendly and make the best drinks. The baked goods are always fresh and delicious. As a person that doesn't like coffee (gasp) I love that they are willing to make the sames flavors with hot chocolate!

I have a grouse about most coffee places. They are too impersonal and intimidating when at the ordering counter.

My go-to option is a flat white. It wasn't on the board.

Here, I got a cheery greeting and a big, genuine, smile.

I was emboldened to ask for a coffee that would be strong, with milk, but not milky, and really hot

They smiled at me and offered a latte with a extra shot, with the milk steamed really hot.

The great coffee made my day! It's going to be my new go-to option!

my absolute favorite place to go for a quick drink! their cookies are unbeatable and everyone there is so friendly.

Stopped on the way from Davenport to Chicago. Close to the highway and friendly staff. We got turkey bagel sandwiches and a cinnamon roll. Everything was delicious, especially the banana foster latte

Strong WiFi. Good latte drink. Fresh bakery goods change daily. This is a nut free environment so don’t expect peanut butter or almonds etc…

Excellent selection of breakfast pastries. We sampled more than we should and enjoyed all! Muffins, coffee cakes, cookies, lattes, and lemonade. Delicious. We will be back for the other half of the counter we didn’t try! :)

The baked goods are to die for. The bagel selection is awesome and same for drinks. Plus they have options without caffeine for kids or people who need decaf! Free wifi makes it a good place to get work done.
