Coffee was good, service was good from one of the employee. There was another employee with the blonde hair who had a very bad attitude. Looked at us and rolled her eyes. We asked a question and she just looked at us with disgust on her face. We said have a good day after the other lady told us what time they closed, and she continued with a disgust look and attitude towards us. I take that she's not used to black people patronizing this establishment. Do better and stop being racist for no reason.

Great atmosphere and delicious food and drinks. I'll be back! I'll bring friends and send people.

We walked Illinois prairie path and decided to look for independent cafe to try new coffee. . Very nice cozy place with approximately 10 tables. Pleasant staff serving good variety of coffees and pastries. Both were very good.

Like Grandma’s house is all the bad ways. Stale decor, furniture, and pastries.

I went to Elijah’s for the 1st time just a few months ago & it was like discovering a hidden gem in Elmhurst!
It’s not on York St or Spring Rd, the roads that run through the 2 main business districts in Elmhurst, so we didn’t discover Elijah’s right away.
But it’s not out of the way or hard to find. It’s on Vallette St, just off York St.
There are several tables with comfy cushioned chairs outside & a roomy yet cozy family-room vibe inside. But the friendly, knowledgeable staff really make this a gem. After ordering the same coffee for 15 years, I took a chance & tried something totally different. I ordered an iced coffee latte made with oat milk & it was great! As are all of the drinks I’ve tried there. And I can’t leave there without ordering a white chocolate raspberry scone or one of their huge chocolate chip cookies.

I should have taken a picture but I ate all my food. Its good, the scone is amazing. And the hot chocolate is great! I love it because it doesn't take like the hot chocolate made with water. It's creamy and smooth.

I love love love this coffee shop! It’s so conveniently located right next to my job. Everyone there is always so friendly. I have made awesome relationships with some of the baristas there! 5 stars ⭐️ all around wish I could give more.

Friendly but not overbearing staff. Cozy seating with ample room for small groups. Vegan sweets in addition to full blown desserts. Great selection of drinks. Love they are open to 5 on a Sunday.
