Joe Sippers Cafe

I’ve never had a bad experience here… I moved from St. Louis to a smaller town outside of Effingham, And sometimes it’s hard to find healthy cafe food with such a variety in the area but.... Joe sippers has got it!!! It’s always so fresh, portions are huge.. options are endless. If you are into cafe food, they have excellent soups salads and sandwiches… I’m so grateful for this little oasis in our community!

It's a great cafe. The staff is very outgoing. The pastry is excellent and I love their cold teas! It was busy at lunch time and everyone customers, as well as staff, were friendly.

I haven’t been here in years, as I moved. I heard it had changed hands several years ago and wanted to check it out. Boom, somehow they have out done the original. Great food, staff is skilled, and the coffee is on POINT!!! I’ll stop by every time I’m in town from now on.

Favourite coffee in Effingham! Chocolate covered coffee beans are delicious. Always friendly staff & have only ever had one employee be unknowledgeable to products [I believe she was new]. Overall 5 stars.

Good food and the girls that helped me were very friendly. Another item checked off my bucket list!

20 minutes for a latte...

They apparently lost my order and eventually wondered why someone was standing at the pickup for all that time, so they asked if I was waiting on an order.
"Did you have an order?"
"Yes."
"Did you place it at the register?"
"Yes."
Sure enough, there it was in order history, before other orders that had already been served.
They knew they were having printer problems and should have confirmed that all orders got printed.
Service definitely not worthy of the 36% (pre) tip.

Happy to see real milk options (half&half, heavy cream) explicitly on the menu, in addition to the typical pretend milk options.

Once finally received, it was a decent latte.

Super chill and welcoming environment. As I stepped into the building, I instantly felt at home. The workers are very friendly, skilled, and helpful. The coffee is excellent!

Had visited a few times a couple years ago but live out of town. Rediscovered a few weeks ago with my son and we have switched our weekly routine from Charleston to Effingham to go! Staff, atmosphere, quality, and options are all first rate.

I enjoyed my iced mocha. Service was courteous and prompt and GENUINE despite being a busy Saturday morning. Def a “yoga pants mom” vibe, I will def return to explore the menu. Smart business!

Kudos to the employees at Joe Sippers Cafe! I surprised my office staff with Joe's Charcuterie platter for Valentine's Day. What a success! Everyone absolutely LOVED it! The presentation was beautiful and the variety of items on the platter suited everyone's taste. If anyone is looking for a gift, a surprise or even a "just because", for a group with different interests I would highly recommend reaching out to Joe Sippers to see what they can create for you and your group!
