Great atmosphere and even greater coffee…easily the best in and around town. Was recently introduced to Aaron and his super-friendly staff while visiting family in Decatur. The quality and care (with the aide of top-of-line equipment) they deliver for every cup of coffee & tea certainly meets, and even surpasses, some of the best shops we have here in the Bay Area. Well done, Aaron & the team at The River - can’t wait to return 👍

I love the environment at The River Coffee Company. It’s unfortunate I’m not in downtown Decatur often, otherwise this would be my go to coffee shop (I will probably start going out of my way more often now!). Great coffee, friendly atmosphere, uplifting music. Wonderful first experience.

BEST local coffee shop! The vibe is very relaxed and mellow and the plants in the window and cold drip coffee display are neat to look at as ya wait for your brew. Coolest most friendly baristas ever, highly recommend The River Experience!

Just stopped in to The River and had one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had, and I'm really picky when it comes to coffee. I got the Ethiopian, and for regular coffee it's pour-overs only at The River so it was as fresh as can be, and the flavor was out of this world. Really top notch. I've sought out the best coffee shops in a lot of cities that I've been to across the country and I have not had a better cup of coffee anywhere. Some have been as good in their own ways, but none have been better.
On top of that, great service by real people in a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend!
