This coffee shop is connected to a hotel and is correspondingly upscale. Nice sofas, fast wifi, and a convenient location. It is also quiet, but the coffee was a little more expensive than expected. In the future I would want to try more of their specialty drinks as they look interesting.

A great finding in the heart of the Loop! This little cafe offers a great selection of coffees and teas in a very cozy environment. You cannot go wrong with their homemade creations. The white chocolate matcha latte with soy milk was the perfect choice to warm me up in a rainy Saturday afternoon!

I work very close to Two Zero Three, and I stop in to treat myself now and again. I have had a variety of their drinks, and all of them have been stellar. The price point is probably higher than a lot of chain coffee places, but with very good reason. The atmosphere is laid-back, but definitely nice enough to take casual business meetings here.

I want to like this shop, and I visit it somewhat regularly, but it's always cramped and uncomfortable. The espresso drinks are good and the baristas are courteous, if impersonal. There is very little floor space to walk around the furniture and it feels like I'm constantly trying to get out of others' way. A wide variety of seating is available, and many customers choose to work on laptops during the day or meet a friend here.

Very tasty coffee (Bowtruss) and friendly service. The pastries are just OK, but everything else is excellent. This is also one of the generally quiet, hidden spots in downtown. Great people watching from the stools along those large windows.

This is a great little spot tucked away in the Virgin Hotel. The atmosphere is okay, nothing horribly special, but the day I visited, I sat by the bar seats up front & the AC was blasting waay too strong. I had to put on a sweater (in July). The staff is nice, service quick. They also use paper straws, which is so cute!

Note to the young man working this morning: When a customer walks in while you are doing busy-work stacking cereal cups, you don’t say, “I’ll be right with you” and continue your precision stacking, making the customer wait. You stop your busy work and assist the customer. Your customer pays the bills, not the cereal cups. Get your priorities straight.

Not only are their coffee, teas, and food incredible, but there are also numerous independent artists who come to present their work! The first time I popped in, I fell in love with this adorable café and its employees.

Really cute place!! Hot cocoa was amazing and I'm picky about my cocoa so that says a lot! The bar strolls are a bit uncomfortable and like to lean forward but the couches and regular chairs are comfortable.

I am not a coffee aficionado. However, I know a lot about good service and conscientious people. I stopped in this coffee shop for my hit of caffeine, and the people were perfectly nice. Yet, what struck me about these workers was when an older gentleman, speaking hardly any English, was disturbed about something and abruptly walked away. The young woman barista, searched him out in the crowded space, to help him with his problem. That goes beyond “Midwest Nice,” and showed me something real good about this younger generation. Bravo!
