Pedestrian Coffee

The Charlatte (decaf version) and the Earl Grey Blackberry stone are both amazing. Took a few minutes to place my order, but there was not a long wait for the espresso drink to be made (the opposite of some coffee shops!). Looking forward to going back and trying other specialties.

I didn't stay because there were so many people sitting quietly at long gray work tables on their laptops, and I was in a comfy couch + chatter sort of mood.

I loved the work-friendly atmosphere . Plenty of plugs available, free wifi and lots of people with their laptops. Friendly staff and good beverages 🔝

Quiet coffee shop just off the L. Great for grabbing a quick something or settling down to work. Delicious sourdough cinnamon rolls! I’ve had better chai lattes.

Great proper coffee, they do not phone it in at this place. Friendly interactions with staff every time we’ve gone and even their baked goods are really high quality. We’ve taken their beans home to brew ourselves too and we’re super satisfied.

Definitely one of my favorite cafes in Lakeview for many reasons! As someone who mostly works from home and likes to get out of the house, I really appreciate that I can always rely on Pedestrian to have ample comfortable seating, plenty of outlets, and good wifi, more so than any other cafe in Lakeview. The warm lighting/modern aesthetic + the smell of fresh baked goods every day make such a nice relaxing ambiance. The bacon cheddar chive biscuit is sooo delicious and you can get it half off the day after it was baked (all the baked goods are baked fresh every morning I believe)! The baristas are always so nice and of course the coffee is great.

i love pedestrian coffee! great vibes all around, a great place to work, read, hang out. they play great music too. plus if ur on the go u don’t even have to enter the store to order! favorite iced coffee in chicago, beautiful lattes (lavender honey 💗) and the addition of matcha to the menu is v exciting. the earl grey blackberry scones r divine. i come here a lot and recommend this place to everybody.

Great coffee with equally great service. If you haven’t had Pedestrian you don’t know what good coffee taste like. The seasonal scones are also delicious. 😌👍🏽

Amazingly friendly staff who know coffee. The pour over coffee is equal to and better than any other shop in the city who still hand prepare a coffee. Dark Matter, Collectivo, and Foxtrot come to mind as places using Covid as an excuse to no longer pour over. If they cared about coffee, they would keep the pour over.

The vegan scone and vegan cherry oatmeal bars are delicious. Love their coffee too and the place is cute.

Worth my time! Service is delightful so is the espresso and cookie! Worth the $7!
