great local option for coffee. There is an enormous community space associated with the coffee shop too which has a variety of events.

nice place to have business meetings or even a casual meet up. Crowded sometimes but they also have conference rooms that you can rent.

Pleasant, spacious neighborhood cafe.The coffee is good, food is good, staff is friendly.

Rodney makes the best Iced Americano, with a splash of Sugar Free Vanilla. My go-to in all seasons.

I mean to give it 3.5 Stars. The recommended Overflow drink was a fairly good drink (although I did not get it with Cayenne pepper). The atmosphere is good but not the modern 21st century work environment I was hoping for. However, the most outstanding part of my experience here was the employees. I had an excellent conversation about music interests festivals. To see this is more of a cafe than a coffee shop.

Support local business, the coffee is good and the service is great. The owners give back to the South Loop and that counts for a lot in my book.

Coffee was excellent. Staff was mostly friendly. Didn't like that our 2 cups of coffee were handled not by the ears but by the rim, where the mouth is placed. Appearance, well, a lobby converted into a café.

Service was terribly slow and I didn't like the taste of the coffee, which is odd because I love lots of different types but I couldn't stomach this.

Not only a community based idea, but also excellent coffee. It's important to support these good independent coffee shops to keep the diversity in the coffee world.

Came here looking for a place to study and found a wonderful environment and super friendly staff! They have a great playlist, perfectly placed outlets along the wall and delicious Bagel Sandwich (with an Everything Bagel).
