Elevate Coffee - Boystown

Elevate is such a cute spot and the people who work there are always friendly, but unfortunately their espresso is very under-extracted (causing it to taste sour and less earthy). I know some people like their espresso acidic, but theirs is next-level acidic, and it tastes like it has lemon juice in it. As a plain espresso drinker, it’s unfortunate that I can’t order it here. Now I have to go for cortados or lattes instead.

Elevate Coffee is one of my favorite coffee shops in the entire city of Chicago. Fresh coffee, snacks/pastries, small breakfast food. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and have always been satisfied. My favorite coffee is the CremeBru Latte- highly recommended. Great staff and always clean- the best coffee shop to start your morning or to hang out!

Nitro was fantastic and unlike most places that make it way too strong they actually focused on making it light and fruity and actually enjoyable and not just a caffeine blast.

Great list of specialty drinks that look creative and focused around complimenting coffee rather than being a drink with a sprinkle of coffee.

Only note is no pour overs so if that's what you want go elsewhere....but especially in summer the nitro more than makes up for that

Elevate makes such DELICIOUS coffee!! Their menu is full of seasonal, unique, and tried & true flavors. Pro tip: if you want to change a menu item to you tastes, just ask! I don’t love overly sweet coffee drinks, so I had the Crème Brûlée latte at half the sweetness and it was PERFECT! The shop is also decorated to make you smile and the pastry case was full of delicious treats. Can’t wait to go back!

I just want to give a huge shout out to the Owner who happened to come shop at my Job for repairs to his business. The guy is a Great Man and very respectful. I wish him and his excellent coffee ☕️ shop nothing but good fortune and prosperity

Ordered a coffee and 2 sandwiches. The sandwiches were around $12 and worth it. Great portion sizes! So much flavor.

The baristas were also wonderful. I highly recommend.

Breakfast here was a good choice, especially with their affordably great coffees as well a decent selection of morning bites. The avo sandwich was tasty. Overall great functional spot - the aesthetic could use a slight refresh but that’s for the future, I hope.

First time in—I’ve been walking by every day for the past 10 months to and from work but their hours are the same as my shift so I never get to stop in, til today when I got to go home early!

I got the Cold Brew Horchata from the specialty drink menu, as I was pleased to learn their homemade horchata is dairy-free and made with almond milk! Get it without the whip to make the drink totally dairy-free. I loved the touch of a cinnamon stick on top—the flavor was very potent but not overbearing, and the hint of nuttiness from the almond milk was lovely.

My barista was very helpful in answering all questions and demonstrated great friendliness and pride in their business—I will definitely be in again when my schedule allows!

Love the rose marzipan latte and their avocado breakfast bagel. Some people work remotely here, it's small so there usually isn't a table available to sit at. Love that it's also dog friendly!
