Colectivo Coffee of Andersonville

I just wish that they had more of their sausage and egg breakfast sandwiches… They are always running out.

FREE. SELTZER. SPIGOT. If that wasn't enough, Colectivo has a great ambiance and vibe for conversation, small meetings, and personal work sessions. Solid food options, reliable WiFi, good A/C, gorgeous open-able wall windows, great shaded patio, friendly staff. I wish they were open a bit later, but it's good they're sticking to reasonable hours for its staff. 2 unisex single occupancy bathrooms that could really use an occupied/unoccupied indicator lock.

I am so happy Colectivo is here. And it's likely been there for a long time but I just noticed so please forgive me. Like the other locations, they are quick and delicious. Their latte was so crazy delicious too. When you're used to the mermaid chain, and you taste Colectivo's version, your mind will change. I also had a breakfast sandwich on what I believe is their homemade English muffin which was truly delightful. I cannot say enough good things and hope to get back there soon.

Enjoy the ambiance of this particular cafe. Staff is always friendly, ample seating outside of COVID, and food is tasty. Major drawbacks are bang for your buck and overall quality of the coffee. Not going to be the best coffee you have ever tasted and quite overpriced (a small burrito for $7-8 with tax and no side). Great place to meet people though!

The place is great. Good pastries and really nice people. Only thing is that I've ordered 2 different coffee beverages, a ginger based one and a mexican chocolate based one. Both were really strong in the spices they put in. Took the comfort right out of the drink. Would come back again.

I love the atmosphere here. Every time I've gone the staff has been so friendly and welcoming. I really like their hot chocolate and the pastries are great. I also tried one of their smoothies which was good, too. I need to make some return visits and explore their menu but so far it's a wonderful addition to the neighborhood!

So cozy place and tasty coffee

Chicago mandates that all establishments require folks who want to sit in restaurants/cafes to show vaccine cards and a valid form of ID as of Jan 2022. Although other coffee shops in the area have been great about this, walked into Colectivo today and not once did they ask for a customer’s vax card in line. When I tried showing the front desk worker my card and ID to sit in, they didn’t even look at it. Just said “ok” and moved on to the next customer! No one was even behind me (not that business should be an excuse for overlooking safety). I won’t be coming back here to sit in, to-go, or otherwise. Irresponsible and quite frankly illegal. Do better.
