Caffè Umbria

It's not because this place has excellent coffee (it does), nor a great vibe (yup), nor a cool view of the roasting operation (spectacular actually), nor a quiet area to chat (yup), nor nice latte art (check), nor even the Seattle roots that I like it. It's the people like Antonio that make you feel special and understand why you came. (Sorry about all the "nors").

Just walked in for a short break during the rain while walking on the adjacent 606 park. Cool coffee roster, in a very unique building. Very good coffee, food and nice atmosphere. Also a good place to just sit and read.

Most delicious cortado I've ever had. It tasted so good, it made me forget the last (bad) one I had. Such a nice, semi-industrial space that allows customers to view the roasting floor.

Great place with high quality coffee and pleasant atmosphere! We had small 8 oz latte and their specialty drink cappuccino freddo. Both were delicious! I totally recommend this place.

Caffè Umbria is an artfully designed Italian-style coffeehouse and roastery with some of the best coffee around, in my opinion! Lovely staff, has both inside and outside seating options, and opens early - as a coffee shop should. :)

Amazing coffee and scones. The cafe al Pepe is my favorite drink for a sweet and peppery latte. I tried the lemon apricot scone and it was delicious and tasted freshly baked. The inside is a huge roastery with nicely spaced seating indoors and out. Plus, you get a piece of chocolate with each order!

Industrial space with a coffee roastery and intimate café. Each espresso drink comes with a small bar of excellent chocolate. Well worth the visit.
