Cristaudo's is a fantastic Place. Good quality food, locally-produced art for sale. Just a wonderful experience each time you go in. The food is prepared fresh, and they offer a different style menu than your average restaurant in Carbondale. This is a very good thing. You never quite know what to expect, but you're not going to be disappointed. And be sure to get a few pink iced cookies to take with you. If you only buy one, you're just going to turn around and go back for more.

Great local restaurant! Comfort food describes it right on target! Nice, quiet, take it easy and enjoy the company like you’re in your own home atmosphere. Take a break from the stress of life and go treat yourself to a yummy meal at a low cost!

We ordered a cake with very specific details... sent pictures of what we wanted and it was nothing at all like the cake we ordered. It looked awful! We also ordered 2 dozen cupcakes to go with it. Both the cake and cupcakes were supposed to covered in dragon like scales... we sent pictures of how we wanted it to look... the cake looked like it had grapes and spiderwebs... the cupcakes looked like bushes. We spent well over 100.00 on our order and when I picked it up and told them that it was nothing like what we ordered they offered $15.00 store credit... as if we will ever order a cake from them again!

This is the place to go. They serve really tasty dishes. From breakfast, to lunch and dinner. There is vegan and meat. It also has some merchandise in the front of the store. Personally, I find their Biscuits and Gravy the best, but that is probably because I havent tried any other foods. Cristaudo's also sells a lot of different kinds of pastries, like cookies and boo-berry bars. They serve coffee and have art shows. It is a wonderful place to hang out and eat with family and friends. The service there is very kind, and bring your orders with a smile.

Cristaudo's did the cake and cupcakes for my wedding last month, and they were delicious! Very reasonably priced, too. They even delivered and set-up the cake and made it look perfect! Would recommend to anyone looking for wedding cake.

I ordered a specialty late- the mothership. The espresso beans were high quality with a smooth low acidity taste. The balance of flavors with the almond and vanilla syrup were perfect and even. I would have preferred a little more vanilla, but it was delicious and smooth. The cup was also well presented and clean! Which is a new development for Carbondale coffee shops.

I tried a large sampling of baked goods from their bakery, everything was scrumptious and cheap! High quality frostings and amazing lemon cookies.

I ordered a turkey and cheddar lunch sand-which and it changed my life. The wild greens added so much flavor to the fresh meats and cheeses. Along with their fresh in house baked egg bread. And their apricot mayo is absolutely to die for.

So I’ve been procrastinating for months to write this review. I’ve just been really busy so here it is, I ordered a sheet cake and 12 carrot cupcakes back in August 11 for a birthday party. After talking to one of their employees I let them know we were having someone else pick up our order because we lived too far away and our friends live in Carbondale. Order was already paid for and the name of the person picking up was given as well so there really shouldn’t have been any mishaps but there was. When our friends went to pick up our order they only gave them half the order they forgot to give them our cupcakes. Bummer so I called and spoke with the same employee I placed the order with and after telling them that we lived so far away and and we didn’t want to inconvenience our friends I was offered a refund. Fast forward to my daughters birthday on Sep 6 I ordered a full sheet cake 24 carrot cupcakes and 6 golden cupcakes (huge order I know, but I ordered a month out like they told me to). So I spoke with them several times about my order and what I all wanted. So we paid when the money was due, now jumping to the party I had my sister pick up the cake because she was going through Carbondale. When she arrived at my house you wouldn’t believe what happened!! They gave her the sheet cake and forgot to give her all 30 cupcakes. Normally I would be a little upset but this was just an utter annoyance at this point because of the fact they had forgot half my order on another occasion. After calling the establishment they offered to drive the hour to deliver my cupcakes and I accepted. If I was rating this location on the cake alone I would rate it a 10 out of 5 because they’re really an amazing bakery, but I have to give them 3 stars. I’m giving 3 stars because I feel like as a business it’s your duty to go above and beyond to correct an issue if it was indeed your mistake. I believe on the second error they could have offered maybe some cash back for the error since in this case it happened twice to the same customer. But since they have good cake and I’m a cake person I will forgive them. Because after these mess ups the carrot cake cupcakes were to die for!! And the sheet cake was moist beyond comparison! I’m writing this review to give my honest opinion they are worth trying and I continue to refer people to them cause they really are the best bakery around !

Great coffee and food, I go in at least once a week and I'm always greeted with a smile. Locally sourced products and lots of vegan options. If you are looking for breakfast lunch dinner or desert you should give Cristaudos a try.

Always kind and accommodating staff. An array of traditional and innovative bakery items. Host to a variety of local painters and musicians. Free WiFi. Locally-sourced breakfast and lunch fare. The bakery feels similar to Bistro Cafe from The Hallmark Channel's show Good Witch.

One of my favourite locally owned cafe/restaurants in Carbondale. Always great menu selections using quality & often locally sourced goods. Comfy, cozy and so much to look at! Cristaudo's is a community oriented, welcoming and inspiring place to be. Their bakery is divine and Six Pence gift shop is unique & fun to browse. All round must visit if in Carbondale.
