This is always the busiest Coffee Hound in town. If you get in before the rush, (8AM) you will avoid a line, but on the weekends, the line is usually a good 10 minute wait. So be prepared for that! They also usually don't offer order ahead during these times because they are just too busy. The drinks are always consistent. I'm currently on the Honeybee Latte train lately which is honey and lavender. Try the milk substitutes if you're open to it! Oat milk is my go-to and adds a more creamy texture to your dink.

Stopped by on our route to Chicago for an iced matcha latte & a bite to eat. The decor is super cute and I enjoyed looking at the art while I waited. About 10-12 people were in line ahead of me when I arrived but the line moved pretty quickly so it was only a 10min wait to order and another 4-5min to receive my order.
I was going to try the avocado toast but the I saw it being made while waiting in line— eggs (hard boiled), avocado smashed up, and bacon were on the counter in plastic bins (possibly on ice? I couldn’t see exactly) and the toast was assembled on the counter. Didn’t look too appealing to me so opted to just stick to the matcha. I asked for the ice in a separate cup so my matcha didn’t get watered down while I ate breakfast (elsewhere) and they happily obliged.
The matcha latte was delicious! Nice and cold even w/o the ice. And just as good once I dumped the ice inside.
I stopped by one of the gender neutral bathrooms while waiting for my order and it was very clean, decorated well, but not well stocked. I used up the last tiny bit of toilet paper (literally 4 squares) that were left. Thankfully I had some options in my bag.

House Cortado is amaaaaazing. Smooth. So smooth. First time here. Cortado was so smooth that I need to go back and have an espresso just to taste it with nothing added. Looking forward to that. Very friendly, helpful staff. Definitely will return.

Great atmosphere, quiet and relaxing. Lots of people with their laptops networking. Staff was friendly and always busy doing something. The Chai tea, coffee with Irish Cream, and the Caramel Latte were all great. The fresh pastries looked absolutely delicious, but I did not partake on this trip. I saved those for the next trip.

Pretty awesome coffee place. The employees are fantastic and the vibe is great for work, social meeting, or just grabbing a quick coffee. My only complaint is the coffee is just ok. There's nothing wrong with it but nothing too special either. Would still recommend to just about anyone.

I came in yesterday while visiting town. The staff was incredibly friendly and the coffee and scone were amazing. They were helpful when I asked about an allergy and even a day old, my fiance loved the scone I brought home for her. I will be returning on subsequent visits to the area. A++.

Home of the slowest most woke employees ever. Likely they don’t get paid enough, always defending themselves against pronouns instead of delivering a quick cup of joe.
Ugh! We just want coffee, not your creepy political and social agenda. The coffee is astringently bitter as are the employees.
Like coffee that’s been brewed in a sink full of dish detergent. It will give you a stomach ache. (As will the employees.)
Go next door to the bakery, it’s quick, better coffee and fresh pastries that aren’t trucked in from over an hour away. ( yes we know the stale pastries were made in Champaign 2 days ago).

Best Vanilla Latte around. Usually busy but the lines move quickly. The atmosphere is one of a classic coffeehouse. Take the time to sit and enjoy your coffee there.

A wonderful new selection of tea Coffee Hound, all 3 locations in Bloomington Normal, are great. The Baristas are all highly trained, and their espresso drinks reflect this. You can get a wonderful variety of espresso drinks, their own roasted coffee and Specialty coffees in collaboration with White Oak Brewery, Nitro, a wonderful new selection of Teas, a wonderful red tiger chai and smoothies and much more. They have a great selection of In-House made pastries. They also have in house made bread for toast, and a delicious avocado toast. My favorite is their house latte, which is a miel, honey and cinnamon.

I ordered a peach danish and apple cider with caramel. It was way to sweet but I ordered it so 🤷🏽♀️ but the staff was friendly, the seating area was open, comfortable, and full of natural light plus the art on the wall was interesting. It’s a nice place.
