The Buzz Cafe

Loved the original decor and they were happy to serve us. Food was delicious.

Cool spot with friendly staff/owner. Soups and sandwiches that we've had have been great and every dessert we've tried has been delicious! The berry lemon bars are my favorite 😋

My wife was given a bag of their Highlander Grogg by a friend and loved the coffee, so we stopped by to replenish her supply. We ended up eating a light lunch and the both the food and service were awesome. The staff took all the time required to help my wife find a tasty, grain free option, which isn't an easy task. We live on the south side of Marion, so this won't be an everyday place for us, but we will definitely be back.

I wrote you a couple months ago & told you that while your soups sound amazing I won't support a business that pushes their politics on customers. In particular, I referenced your business selling "Pritzker sucks" signs. You wrote back that you never sold these. Pls look back to your post of May 26, 2020 where you advertise them for sale for $20 each or 3/$15. Not owning your stuff, another reason not to patronize your business

I always enjoy the Buzz whether I eat there with my granddaughters, a friend or our Bible study that meets there. Great "homemade" food and service. We like the Buzz more than any local eating place from Benton to Carbondale.

I live out of state but when I come home to Benton to visit I always have to go to the Buzz. Friendly staff, fresh and delicious food. Thanks ladies for always being welcoming!

I love The Buzz! It's a great place to have breakfast or lunch, and everything on their menu is made in house! Wonderful soups, salads and sandwiches! A nice place to visit with friends, read a book and meander around the cafe to see the paintings and photographs done by local artists. A real delight!

Went there for lunch and got a sandwich, soup and pastry. The soup was delicious..mushroom and brie..wish I got more! The sandwich was pretty good too and pastry was very good. I tried my husband's sandwich that had ceasar dressing and it tasted very good and homemade. I liked the casual artsy vibe although I didnt see the childrens books they talked about that I wanted to look at. Overall great fresh soup and pastry, sandwich was good. Only thing that would make it over the top is doing homemade lunch meats. We will return again sometime, very friendly staff! It would be great if they were open later also!

Although it is a little pricey, especially if you tag on a latte. My avg meal is 11 w/latte and 8 w/out. The food is great! Their breakfast croissant is very good. Their paninis, wraps, sandwiches, chicken salad, salmon Caesar salad, are SO worth what you pay! Oh also they have really good sweet treats and bread!
And who doesn’t like a little critical criticism to start off your day? The staff are super friendly and the service is exceptional! Stop by soon!

I’ve been trying to call in an order for lunch from this place for months. Are they EVER open??? They have not answered the phone once - not once.

UPDATE:
Evidently Covid was a factor as to why no one was answering the phone. I finally got through today, placed an order and picked it up. The food was delicious and the staff was stellar! Very pleasant atmosphere and I highly recommend this place:)!
