By far my favorite breakfast place, friendly staff, amazing food and a small town cozy feel

I just love a local breakfast place and Star Cafe did not disappoint.

This is a great diner style, line out the door, small town favorite.

If you want to experience Star, Idaho like it used to be, step back in time and visit Star Cafe. Sit at the counter and pretty soon you’ll have 3 or 4 new friends. The food is fantastic. The only thing I’d add to the menu is grits. Try the Haystack but only order the half unless you have a gigantic appetite. $7.99 gets you the best breakfast sandwich in the valley. The servers are always smiling and seem to know everyone by their first name. Awesome place.

Mama's home cooking, friendly atmosphere, and wonderful staff that one would expect from a small town cafe. Great value on the food and the serving sizes were very big. I had the biscuits and gravy... which was amazing. The place was pretty full but the wait time was very minimal, definitely one of my new favs!

Texas toast French Toast is soft and delicious! Onion rings were perfect! Great little place to stop for breakfast or lunch.

I live out of state and love bringing my grandsons here when I visit. I would have given it 5 stars but it appears the wait staff is new and they seemed very frazzled and disorganized, uncertain of who was responsible for which table. The food was still great, though.
