Country Coffee Cabin

I’m giving this 3 stars simply for the fact that it’s food in the middle of no where and I don’t like to negatively impact a fellow restaurant owners business with low stars. It’s a cute little country store environment. Server was polite, patty melt was delicious! Unfortunately, the steak sandwich was not what I expected. It was steak, mayonnaise, and shredded lettuce (I don’t think it said mayonnaise on the menu?) Salad bar was less than appealing, not very fresh produce. The high prices don’t reflect the quality of the food.

Great food, good service and neat little place...

They were very busy and the folks waiting and serving were running. For their efforts, I would have given this a better rating but the food was poor. We had the Patty Melt and the Halibut sandwich. The Patty Melt was a hockey puck disk like you purchase by the 24-pack at a grocery store, it wasn't cooked through, and was the greasiest one I'd ever had. The Halibut Sandwich was like something you'd find at a fast food restaurant. I understand the is a small town so I didn't expect stellar meals but I live in a small town which has places with decent meals available; so I know it is possible to do better.

Had a good breakfast a couple of weeks ago. Returned with friends last week for lunch. The salad bar was unavailable due to a meeting occupying the room that contains the salad bar. Friends & husband had steak fingers and were not impressed. Tater tots were flavorless. I had the halibut (fried) which was just "okay". Perhaps best for us to order other than fried food if we visit again.

Lots of great home cooked food at a great price. Super friendly folks.

Poor service, asked for ice tea refill girl said ok then sat down never got tea. Paid 26.00 for steak dinner came out with just a steak and that's IT. Fish dinner was greasy and horrible. Was suppose to come with dessert never got that. Awful! Not more then 5 mins passed after our order was taken and we got our bill. What the heck!

Cute place, very friendly, pretty busy, and good finger steaks. My understanding is the coffee is really good as well. And they must have every flavor available from what I could see.
