Wild River Java

I tried these guys on a suggestion from a local shop in McCall, and boy am I glad I did! They were very friendly and the drinks are super creative. My husband loved the Italian Soda with the Tajin. Thanks for a new drink idea!! :)

Super good coffee! I recommend the caramel Machiatto.

I read another review that said the dirty Chai tea was almost as good as Dutch brothers , so I got one . It was definitely not , not even close . It tasted like coffee or something, I couldn't even finish it , to bad I got a large

I absolutely hate giving places 1 star reviews - but I’ve given this place SO many tries to get it right. Every time I go, the customer service is terrible. The baristas seem irritated & act like you’re an inconvenience. the wait time is crazy long… it takes more than 15 minutes to get 1 coffee (one time I waited 30 minutes to get 2 drinks…) and the coffee isn’t great, really watery & I usually always get an incorrect flavor/wrong drink… I get two shots with 1oz of cream & a splash of vanilla & it somehow always gets turned into a latte or breve..

Pretty good coffee for the area, but such a long wait time for such a small amount of people in line. We asked for Whipped cream on a Small Hot Chocolate only to find that they put the cream on top of the already un-stable lid.
TL;DR Average coffee, Could be a little better.

$12.75 for two coffees. I should have trusted my instinct to just drive away. Are your employees polishing individual coffee beans? I got a 16oz hemp milk (75 cents extra, not complaining) Mexican Mocha that only came with one shot. "Would you like another shot?" It's a 16 oz coffee drink! Of course I want more than one shot! So that was an additional 75 cents. The other coffee was a 20oz mocha. Tasted like warm milk. Where was the chocolate, and why would you hold back at this steep price point? After tipping we spent almost $16 for two coffees. The poor quality of the mocha and lack of caffeine included in the original price equals we will never go back. I have read other reviews where Wild River Java responds that they hope you will give them another chance, but please just avoid them and give another coffee shop in town a chance. As visitors in town we were going to go to one of the coffee roasters but it was closed all day so we ended up here.

Asked for a Strawberry coconut smoothie and they have me a pineapple smoothie. Yesterday I wanted a strawberry red-bull smoothie and they didn’t put red-bull in it and it wasn’t strawberry. The day before I asked for a Caramel breve and they gave me a whit mocha.

Ordered 2 Americans and they did not even pay attention to how we ordered them, we asked what one had more cream in it and they said they were the same. Told them one was supposed to have extra so they put more in one and did not steam it like we asked. And it was was cold cream so instead of having hot coffee on a snowy day we ended up with a cold coffee. I would recommend you stay away from this place. cold c

Very friendly staff with fast service. Served 10 drinks to the vehicle in front of us in abut 4 minutes. Crazy fast! Many drink and food options available. The only downside is that while it is some of the better espresso in the area and was our regular stop while we were there, it still wasn't quite up to snuff for us. The espresso tasted more like a strong cup of drip (coffee) brew. Even a quad (4 shot) mocha didn't taste very strong, nor was it accompanied by that wonderful aroma that wafts off of good espresso.

We've stopped here many times while visiting McCall from Boise. Great coffee, friendly service - really love this place. Its a perfect spot to stop and grab coffee before you go further into the mountains or take a drive. It was good to see this business has grown since the last time we visited!
