Bigwood Bread Bakery & Cafe

I love this place! Every time I go to Sun Valley I hit Bigwood for breakfast. The staff are always happy and friendly. The huevos rancheros is by far my favorite. But legit everything is amazing. They have amazing bakery and pasty items. Mmm so good!

Wow!!!! Absolutely a fabulous place to eat breakfast. Healthy choices, standard eggs and bacon and wonderful pastries.
Try to granola or take a bag to go.

Best bakery in Sun Valley/Ketchum. Their cinnamon rolls are amazing. Excellent breakfast. Staff were all very friendly.

I’m very picky about baked goods. This place bats at about 600 consistently, which is good enough for the hall of fame. Pecan Pie, Cinnamon Roll, Pecan Sticky Bun, Ginger Cookies, and ham and cheese croissant are all winners here. Coffee is also pretty good which is hard to find at a bakery. Great atmosphere too!

Eating the products from here is like living a dream. I happen to be VERY fussy about my baked goods let alone any breakfast related foods. Their French toast is to DIE for. Their eggs have a flavor you simply don't typically get. But man oh man their banana nut bread is simply out of this world unreal. Even their cookies are major cut above. Let's not forget their croissants, of which my favorite is the almond paste one. I just can't get enough of this. Glad I can at least have a few critical items delivered to keep me going till I make it up there again.

Our Culinary class came to Ketchum for a Tour of the Limelight Hotel. Big Wood Bread & Cafe was chosen for lunch. We were a big party, but they did great taking our orders and getting the food out!! I was extremely amazed by how awesome my Big Wood Club was. The Coleslaw was out of sight! Great job to all. There front of house staff and the Back of house crew Rocked it!! Will highly recommend this place!! I will be back.

If this place had rats cooking the food like in ratatouille I would not tell the health department. Me and my wife had breakfast there and it was amazing!! Well priced for Ketchum/Sun Valley and the food we had was AMAZING!!! Will be going again when we get the chance!!

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but some constructive criticism wound be good. Food is 5 stars, but the service is 1. We were waiting for 45 minutes to get served, while 1 person took orders, made drinks, and basically did it all. Meanwhile the whole dining room was empty because the service was so slow. It takes the person taking orders 5 minutes to complete an order. We got there at 11 for breakfast, by the time we got to the counter for an order, they stopped serving breakfast, so a Philly cheese steak for breakfast.. Everyone else in line felt the same way.. They did finally open up the other register, but only for a few orders. These are the things that put good restaurants out of business. Create some efficiency in the front and you could make money hand over fist, but doing it the way it is now, people are going to stop coming no matter how good the food.

Nice little cafe for brunch. Came here for lunch.They don’t have specific vegan option but you can certainly make some it work with their veggie bowls or kale wrap. The side salad options that come with sandwiches are not vegan. My kale wrap was...somewhat tasteless. I couldn’t taste any dressing or seasoning in the wrap, nor did I get any sauce on the side. They also have many GF options. They also serve Starbucks coffee. The staff is nice and friendly. Overall my experience was pleasant.

Amazing cinnamon rolls!!! The baldly bowl was a great healthy choice for breakfast with good coffee.
