Charlie's Cafe

Had lunch with friends here the other day. It was great! It's an old, maybe hesitant to say rundown building, but that adds to it's charm, I think. While you may fear an unhealthy dining experience, don't. The dishes were clean, and the food prepared apparently properly.

The prices are low, but the food quality was great. If you like biscuits and gravy, order them! It's bacon gravy, and I had not had that before. It was great. The gravy was light in texture. It was not paste like, nor lumpy, nor grease. The biscuits were high and fluffy. The full order is large, be hungry!

I didn't hear anything bad from my dining partners, and everyone finished their food. I assume the food they ordered was good as well.

Charlie's Cafe has breakfast/lunch hours so be early. However we were there on a Saturday at 12:30 pm and had the place pretty much to ourselves. The service isn't the fastest, but it was good. I will certainly pick Charlie's Cafe over Denny's or Perkins from now on, given the chance.

The place was amazing on the taste of the burgers. Although they did leave some hunger left over. Overall great place, loved the signs, super helpful staff, but the bathrooms could use a bit of a touch-up.

Salad was completely wilted. Service was horrible.
Locals get Service 1st. So if you're Ok with that. Enjoy. Baked potatoe was blah and dry.

The food is delicious and the portions are big. We love their breakfast. Our waitress is always kind. The building is older but it adds to the charm.

I have been going to Charlie's for 10 or more year's, they have very good food! And the portions are plentiful, good service!

Happened upon Charlie’s after camping nearby. Breakfast was amazing, huge portions, best pancake I’ve ever had, service was great and prices very reasonable. Building could use some fixing but overall we’ll give it 5 stars! See y’all next time we’re in Burley👍

One of the family favorites. They give generous portions, prices are good, service is great. I ordered a chicken Cobb salad which was a true delight to taste buds and eyes.

This is the local gem you're looking! Great Monte Cristo, fries were soggy but they actually taste good.. Portion wasn't big like reviews I read said but overall I would go back

Good food friendly atmosphere

Charlies is a Burley institute. Theyve been around since i was a kid. Theyre reliable and the tex-mex they serve is always good. Wish the portions were a bit bigger, and the prices are a little high, but its well worth a visit.
