Such a sweet and welcoming environment. I absolutely love the decor, local art, the little shop and the sweet treats made with care. The six herb tea with a little bit of coconut milk, honey and cinnamon is my favorite drink to indulge in. It makes me smile to see the many folks that come in to sit and chat over work or pass me by as I draw at one of their little tables. I hope to keep coming back and try new teas and get creative in this space <3

The vibe is very cozy millennial based. Coffee is delicious as well! Cute cups for pride as well!

Hip coffeehouse. Local favorite. Lots of carb-friendly desserts, including vegan options, & trendy-classic coffee selections, like cortado. Coffee is a bit strong. Chocolate vegan Bundt cake needed a little more sweet but overall, a nice, slightly crowded hang. Go outside & kick back

A quaint place with strong community vibe. The baristas are incredibly friendly and know many of the patrons. There is quite a bit of seating. If you are headed to a party and are in need of gifts or cards they can also help you out so you don’t show up empty handed.

I think this is a great place. Very unique and fun! The sweet delights and drinks are creative and flavorful. The way it should be!
And to respond to William Clark’s review….”Do not take your young children here unless you want to have the conversation of what a “dom top” is. There is a gift shop to the right of the entrance that is filled with adult content. BEWARE if you have youngsters”
William dear, what’s wrong? Is having a conversation about you being a discreet fem bottom too much to have with your children? 🙄
Perhaps you would be more filled with joy in this world if you actually purchased something from that gift shop to use on yourself.
That’s all. :)

Love this wonderfully inclusive and comforting coffee shop. Everyone here is wonderful. And the ham + cheddar turn over is YUM

I've spent decades of my life and thousands of my dollars at Flying M. It is a shining beacon of light and beauty in a dark world. It is a place where people can feel safe and be themselves, whomever they may be. And it's also worth mentioning that the coffee is second to none in this city.
In response to the customer complaining about the discomfort of explaining what a "dom top" is to his children, I'll admit as a fellow middle-aged CIS white guy, I had to look that term up as well. And I found the definition no more offensive than the time I had to explain to my children what the Nickelback lyrics "you look so much cuter with something in your mouth" meant after we heard that blaring from one of the million bicycle bars assaulting our ears downtown. Or when I had to explain to them that the grown men carrying assault rifles downtown were there to threaten and intimidate a peaceful assembly of citizens trying to stop police brutality across our nation. Or the many times I've had to explain that the blood on the sidewalks around 6th and Main is a consequence of the deadly combination of toxic masculinity and alcohol.
We live in a complex world full of awful things. But it's also a world that's still full of beautiful things, and the community that Flying M has created for people who don't fit in anywhere else is absolutely one of the most beautiful things that the city of Boise has to offer.

This place was a hidden LGBQTIA+ gem. The gift shop was perfect and our drinks were made with care.
