Wow, this place hits the spot while on the North Shore. If you want a light breakfast or brunch go for the Avacado and toast, if you want a hearty meal get the Bowls. Wow. Thank you “The Spot North Shore”

I highly recommend this place!
Though it looks unsuspecting as a small little shop in this marketplace, the food here is amazing!
They have amazing vegan fruit bowls with blended frozen fruit sorbet-like bases that they top with fresh fruit, granola, peanut butter, and honey. Best fruit I had - absolutely delicious 😋
Seating is available in the small courtyard in front of the small shop. It can get crowded quickly and people will be quick to steal your spot if you let them.
There is plenty of parking all around the market and every place I saw was wheelchair accessible, though you might have to go a slightly longer route.

The best place to get coffee, breakfast, and açaí bowls in princeville. Every time we come to the island we go here for breakfast and coffee here. Bonus, the staff are always pleasant and work really hard. There is plenary of covered seating.
Compared to our last visit in 2017, in 2021 the line has gotten waaaay longer in the mornings. It seems others have caught wind of how good it is. **If you’re in a hurry** to grab something and go, this may not be the best spot for you. The food comes out relatively quick, however, the line takes a while. For example, we came 5min after they opened and were 9th in line. It took almost ~33min to get to the front and order. Expect to wait on average 3.5min per person in line to get to the front. As the staff is juggling multiple roles, the person taking orders has to do other things in between customers (like I said, they work really hard). If there is no line or you’re not in a rush, then there is no problem. 🙃

The Benedict bowl, sooo good. Great, healthy breakfast. Amazing smoothies and coffee too

Wow, this is an awesome breakfast, especially after a morning hike! My husband and I shared the Wake ‘n’ Bacon bowl (we added veggies), a custom smoothie bowl, and an iced red eye, and it was all delicious! I’m sure the locals are tired of the chickens everywhere, but I enjoyed their presence, too. (Just don’t leave your food unattended or they will seize the opportunity to eat something other than bugs! 😅)

Really good food, but it takes forever to order. For some reason, people in line are oblivious to others waiting and they get up to the window and start looking over the breakfast menu even though they’ve been standing there for 30 minutes.
Perhaps the manager of the restaurant could send someone out with a clipboard to take peoples’ orders while standing in line, or at least answer questions so the order taker doesn’t have to answer every single question about the menu since the beginning of time.

The place did not live up to its hype on our visit for breakfast. Ordered Benedict bowl which was like any other egg Benedict on an English muffin and tasted okay. However I was charged extra to substitute bacon with an egg, which I thought was unreasonable. The bowl costed me $14.50 which I thought was overpriced for a simple egg Benedict. My wife ordered avocado toast which was admittedly good. Also had a latte which was okay but it definitely wasn’t the best coffee I’ve had in Kauai.
The place is self serve and has an outdoor seating area in the courtyard of the Princeville market.

Got the Wake n Bacon breakfast bowl, great concept but the potatoes were soft and flavorless. An opportunity here for a crispy hash brown base and this bowl would be next level.

Delicious original food. Ate breakfast here and going back for dinner. Sylvie had the smashed avocado toast with bacon, and I had the "Wake n bacon" bowl. Absolutely delicious. You pickup your food inside and eat in the common area outside with the chickens.

Small no-frill kinda spot at the princeville market. The seating area is outside with chair tables and umbrellas. The food was ok but I thought the portions were small as I and my husband both were hungry after the breakfast. I ordered the avocado toast that was smashed avocado on sourdough bread slice topped with onions and tomatoes. Added an extra scrambled egg on top for extra $1.5. My husband ordered the Benedict bowl and wasn’t too impressed. He substituted bacon with an extra egg as Benedict bowl comes with only one egg but was charged extra for the substitution which usually isn’t the case at other eateries.
