Googled for a local roaster for my morning coffee. Arrived in time for the Saturday morning Farmers Market and scored a selection of amazing French pastries to go with my coffee (timing is important as the pastries were selling fast!).

Only just now getting to review this place after spending Christmas on Oahu. Me and my wife came here after a woman told us to check it out while we were looking at coffee in Target. We live in Puna, decided to come look at this place because we were told the coffee was really good, and that is an understatement. The coffee and tea are exceptional, so vibrant and palatable goodness that will surely get your morning started. We also had the pleasure to talk to Rachel who works here, she was such a breath of fresh air to talk to and we had so much in common about things. Rachel helped us pick an amazing coffee to try and it was fantastic to say the least. We also got a fruity tea which we love. Our 1lb of coffee is just about gone now, so we must stop back when we get a chance to get more. Thanks Rachel and the Hilo Coffee Mill.

This was by far one of our most meaningful experiences while in Hawaii! We were so lucky to speak with Jeanette about the mill's mission to provide quality local coffees and support farmers. They truly embody the meaning of 'ohana. We learned so much about the island, and every staff member is so nice and personable. We highly recommend visiting the mill and providing this coffee in your rental properties and businesses!

Delicious coffee, fantastic service, would highly recommend. The people really made the 5 stars; they were incredibly kind and willing to answer questions, give you as many samples as you want, and do anything make your experience better. The coffee was very good too, they had flavored coffees (not syrups, flavors actually roasted in with the beans) that were surprisingly amazing. The pineapple was our favorite, although the toasted coconut is good too. Worth taking a stop or going a little out of your way to see the roasting room, taste the coffee, and meet the wonderful people!
