I can't say enough good things about this place, it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. I had the limoncello iced coffee and it was so unique and delicious. My partner is Australian and has never found a Flat White that lives up the hype in America-- until now. He said it was better than many in Melbourne and is still talking about it. The barista/owner was the nicest man, and the place seemed to be a community staple. Plus they had vegan donuts and veggie scone that was unreal. Don't skip this one!

I love coming in and Anthony and Megan already knowing my order! Love Anthony’s homemade almond croissants as well as other local tasty treats.

I can’t wait for the main cafe to open, and in the meantime I’ll be cheering them on as they keep at on the lanai, and so should you!

Their rose matcha was one of the best matchas I ever had in my life! Unfortunately when I tried to go again they were always closed, so I’m a bit confused about their google maps opening hours. Otherwise great experience!!

Espresso Mafia is 10/10 every single time!! Anthony and Megan go above and beyond for every customer. Some of the best customer service I have ever witnessed time and time again. They genuinely love what they do and our community and it shows. Yeah, sometimes the line is long but what do you expect… Makawao’s a small town and EM is the BEST spot so give yourself some extra time if you’re in a rush (or just slow down and take a breath 🙃) They make their own in-house dairy free “Mafia Mylk” which is so delicious and they’ve got one of the BEST Italian sandwiches on island too. Matcha is always 💯 and made just how I like it. Truly can’t wait till the cafe opens up! I’ll be there every day just to soak up the incredible energy this place radiates!

Megan and Anthony have created one of the best coffee places on Maui!! We stayed in Lahina and drove to Upcountry Maui to get a great cup of hot Americano and a Rose Macha tea. They were delicious and Megan and Anthony are the nicest, kindest folks!! Definitely would recommend Espresso Mafia to anyone in search of a great product and awesome people!!! Best coffee on Maui, we tried a few shops over the course of our 2 week trip but happened upon this place during a day trip to Makawao. Nothing else tasted the same after and we made the journey up from Kihei to do our morning coffee here, well worth the trip. We also tried the homemade poptarts, ham and cheese croissant and banana bread. All delicious! Highly recommend! The owner and staff are amazing people, thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

If Espresso Mafia ever decided to expand to the mainland Vancouver, Canada would love you!

The best drinks on the island!! We cannot wait to visit again. Such a great experience each time! If you are up country this is a must or just make a special trip you won’t regret it 🤙

Anthony provided excellent, friendly service with a smile. I got the dirty chai latte and my friend got the lavender latte and they were both so good. Highly recommend!

Best coffee in Makawao, we stopped by here 3 days in a row during our brief stay in Makawao. They have a specials menu as well. Knowledgeable owners/barista, community feel with lots of regulars but tourists also seem equally welcome. Great experience, must check out in upcountry!

Some of the best lattes I’ve ever had - not just in Maui! House made simple syrups, perfectly balanced flavors. I’ll miss this place.
