Aloha Roastery

As a coffee drinker and barista their coffee is not very good. It taste very watery. I asked for a cappuccino and it was very disappointing. It had very little foam and wasn't hot. Kind of tasted like Starbucks.

Great iced lattes! We had charcoal and mac nut lattes, and both were quite good. It’s got a calm and pleasant atmosphere with friendly and fast service.

I stop here every trip to Kauai. Great coffee and even better pastries. Never seem to get there in time for crudfins but their other pastries are great too.

We visited both locations. First experience was ok. Cortado was over extracted, but still decent. Second was terrible. Customer service was horrible... stereotypical pretentious baristas. I asked for a pour over which took them 12 minutes to brew with no other customers. The Peru had age, was underdeveloped, and tasted like paper. As a Q-Grader, I am confident the coffee was very bad. I couldn't drink anymore after a few sips. A minimalist aesthetic and Kees van der Westen espresso machine doesn't equal a good experience. I recommend teaching baristas better customer service (Aloha) and better brewing fundamentals.

Hands down best coffee on the island. Their americano gives me life, each sip of the delicious, full-bodied flavor brings joy to my being and makes living in Lihue worth it. Thank you for what you all do.
oh & don't even get me started with their croissants...if you happen to be a lucky one to get there before they sell out.

This place is a hidden gem. We got coffee from aloha every chance we had because they we’re always super kind, their lattes were amazing, and there was almost never a wait. While they don’t have the most extensive breakfast menu they do have a good selection of fresh pastries every morning and they are all amazing. Do yourself a favor and give them a try for a lovely local experience.

Really simple menu but all the staples are there. I got an iced almond milk mocha and that was perfect.

Very nice coffee selection, prompt service. Clean setting. Wish there was more inside seating. Disappointed there was none outside.

Pastries were KILLER. Not mildly good....simply amazing!!! The bacon cheddar scone was a complete winner and I thought I wouldn't have to share my macadamia-honey Kouign-Amann but suddenly, my family liked nuts. (But macadamia is kind of cheating, isn't it)
