Pono Coffee & Bakery

A quaint coffee shop located in Kapaa where the locals go and that means it's good! So many coffee flavors and drinks along with many assorted pasties and breakfast items that are headed on sight!
Definitely worth taking a short walk from the surrounding hotels and visiting here where you'll feel like a local and take in the aloha life while sipping on coffee. In fact as I'm writing this a fresh batch of maple bacon donuts just came out and they look amazing!

Savory and sweet. I had a wonder crab room and sweet Masalada. Wish I found this little gem earlier in my vacation.

Delicious baked items and quality coffee. Pumpkin scones were not too sweet, little crunch outside, fluffy inside.

The iced coffee and oatmeal raisin cookies were great!

Their dirty chai is amazing! As well as their cinnamon rolls. We grabbed a cinnamon roll and coffee two mornings in a row since it was quick, easy, and could be eaten in the car. Their other baked goods looked good too! They also had hot food available but we didn't try that. It is well worth your time to stop by and grab a bite and coffee!

We had an iced latte which was good and a frappe which was very good.

We also had a cinnamon roll that was good and a lavender blueberry turnover that was really good. We also got a sweet roll made with taro, a purple yam or sweet potato which is worth trying.

The service was fast. I would go back.

We stopped in for coffee on our way from the airport, excellent scones and cinnamon buns. Coffee was good as well. Staff was very friendly, nice team. We stopped on our way back to the airport as week

We got a loaf of pre sliced Pono Bread and took it back to our place to make sandwiches, but we also topped with butter and broiled. It’s a great bread and texture. Chocolate crinkle cookies are perfect with milk or ice cream. Macadamia nut roll - what a nice little treat. The service was very friendly. The shop was clean and bright. Recommend!

I was sad we were only able to go here once. The coffee was delicious and the food was amazing. Will definitely come back next time!

OMG. Came for coffee, left with pieces of heaven. Eat everything here.
