I would never thought one day I get a chance to get my fresh roasted coffee beans from here. If you’re a real coffee drinker and on the island you must visit Kauai Coffee and get one of the best coffee beans in the world.
Had a pleasure to meet the master roaster and she helped me to pick up my beans.

Shirley was super kind, definitely gave us all the free samples we wanted, left with a pleasant caffeine buzz. More importantly she taught me about the coffee, and found I love the peaberry medium roast. She also encouraged us to do the self guided tour which was interesting.

Good overall experience. Parking was easy, guided tours are offered first thing in the morning, but the self-guided tour was available all day, coffee samples were available, and there was a cafe to order your traditional espresso drinks.

We enjoyed our tour of the coffee plantation. They had a lot of free coffee samples to taste. It is a self walking tour and the little cafe on site has a good selection of snacks to accompany the coffee.

Such a fun little place. Gift shop but they have unlimited coffee samples of a bunch of their coffees so you can find which one you like best! And the cafe has an inexpensive coffee of the day where you can choose which one you want!

The employees were knowledgeable and kind, we had 5 samples and enjoyed them very much. We ended up buying lots of coffee to take home with us and it was very reasonably priced. We loved going on the self guided tour and getting to know more about coffee!

Nice easy tour and learned a bit more about coffee ☕️ (always a good thing to know) Genny was awesome with the tour, Loke at the tasting was sweet and nice 👍.
So, in how many ways would you make your coffee after this tour??

The coffee tastes smooth and special, especially the one Vanilla Mac nut flavor, strongly recommended. The self guided tour is relaxing and fun. I enjoyed reading the interesting boards about the history of the company and their efforts to made good coffee. And of course, playing and petting the kitties in the farm was almost therapeutic.
However, I was shocked by the bad service of the staff there, didn't expect such rudeness and discrimination at all. The staff providing the coffee sample ignored my questions, didn't look at me at all when handing me the drinks, because she was so busy flirting with the White man behind me. When I tried to get some cream, I couldn't open the cream bottle, BTW, the bottle is weirdly hard to open. She then ROLLED HER EYES on me and then continue to laugh and talk with the white dude. Lady, I am sorry to interrupt your flirting, but I am more sorry to be treated this way by another woman of color.
Such a pitty that this one staff ruined all others' effort. I can only rate this experience as one star and will not consider going there again.

The tour was very laid back and informative. The service could have been better. I ordered a Mocha and when asked what size I wanted I pointed to the larger of the two. But when I was rang up I was charged for the coffee of the day. When I asked the clerk when my mocha would be ready she said I ordered the coffee of the day. I never asked for the coffee of the day. Everyone else was very welcoming and kind.

I had the best coffee ever. Barrel aged coffee beans from a rum barrel. They only make it ever so often. It's $48 for 1 lb. Well worth it.
