Was really surprised-- amazed even-- by this coffee shop. It's small and looks like the dozens of others in Hawaii, but the quality of the coffee was really unexpected, so this is 1 of 2 getting a review. I got a cold brew made from local beans (Buddha's something was the name of the farm), and it was, perhaps, the best coffee I've had. I'll be honest-- a lot of coffee tastes the same to me (even though I love it), but my companion agreed that this was something different-- floral, bright, I still remember the taste. They also have a NYC style bagel and lox, which was a nice and unexpected treat!

Very slow. Takes about 10 minutes per customer / group. There were four people in front of me so I waited 40 minutes. Coffee was okay. The lady cashier wasn’t the nicest person

This little gem is wonderful! I was staying close by and able to walk here several times. I love that it opens at 7am. The food and drinks are delicious! You can taste the high quality ingredients. They have a variety on their menu from breakfast, lunch, coffee and smoothies. I tried several things and enjoyed it all. The staff is friendly, welcoming and very genuine. It can be busy at times but it is absolutely worth the wait! There are tables to wait outside so it’s not a big deal. There is also plenty of parking available as well. Definitely recommend this spot!

Stopped here twice while on vacation. Their tiger chai tea is amazing and the best we have ever had!

This is the best local coffee spot - great drinks, smoothies, food, and best of all, great staff. They are not fast, for that you go to McDonald's, but they are very caring. They've had to adapt to Covid, with space restrictions and resulting lineups, but I'm so glad to see them surviving and putting their heart into serving up their specialties.

We got in line before they opened and waited to order drinks and breakfast. The drinks were simply fabulous, my only regret was not ordering a larger size. The breakfast bagels were pretty average. Fairly small and underwhelming but if you don’t feel like making breakfast one day - why not? Very friendly staff. They make sure only one customer enters the store at a time (covid times eh).

Avoid this place at all costs! My wife and I are in Hawaii on our honeymoon and decided to stop here for some coffee before our excursions. Big mistake! The main issue that kicked off this whole fiasco is the fact that they are so slow and we were forced to wait outside in the sun sweating like crazy. One of the female employees there is maybe the rudest person I’ve ever encountered at any business. She accused my wife to her face of cutting in line when she went into the shop to order. To make matters even worse, she went outside and proclaimed in front of me and the other customers outside that she thinks my wife and I cut the line. I decided to avoid making a scene and not say anything as the couple behind us said we in fact did not cut them. I’m honestly shocked that someone this unprofessional could be employed in a customer service position. You’re better off saving yourself the hassle and going someplace else. Plenty of other options.

Disappointing. Read about this place in some Big Island listicles, so we thought we'd stop by for breakfast. The drinks (lattes and smoothies) are fantastic - but the food and service are sub-par. The sandwiches/bagels are akin to something you could buy at Safeway and overpriced, and every person that we interacted with who was working at the coffee shop was cranky. I understand that not every establishment has to pander to its guests, but it'd be nice to grab a cup of coffee without a side of rudeness and sass.

Decent food, good prices, good coffee. But no good place to sit and enjoy. I recommend the salmon bagel sandwich, getting it to go.

Coffee wasn't bad. The older gentleman working there seemed to be in a grumpy mood and the service was pretty slow even though there were few customers. The young lady working there was very friendly.
