Best coffee I ever had. You can not complete your Hawaii trip with out drinking coffee at Akamai. I would definitely recommend this place. Mocha with extra shot is my personal favourite
This is the best coffee place you will ever have! They get the orders correct everytime- and I go here many times a week, they memorize the order off the top of their heads, and they are always so sweet and kind! 10/10 recommend
Akami Coffee is a Maui tradition for my husband & I.
Akami is our 1st stop after leaving the airport. We look forward to getting our 1st sips of our favorite Maui coffee. NOLA, cold brew and latte are our favorite. We love the quality of the coffee beans. You can taste the difference when you get your drink.
The staff have always showed the Aloha spirit. Welcoming, kind, personable & make great recommendations.
Nifty little coffee drive up shack. The staff were friendly and happy. Excellent coffee. Locally grown beans. The croissant 🥐 was delicious. Crispy, gooey 🧀. Yum.
This drive-thru coffee stand is in one corner of the Home Depot parking lot. The young lady taking orders was super accommodating. She kept asking if my wife's cold brew had enough cream and offered to add more. A hidden gem near the airport.
Where do I begin. This is by far my favorite coffee place in the world!!! Theres nothing worse than drinking burnt coffee, and I have never ever gotten one from Akamai. Having lived in New York as well, this is still better than any coffee I had there. The staff is always extremely pleasant and I couldn't imagine getting my coffee from anywhere else!
There's not much else to say other than these people know coffee and do it right! Then, add the amazing coffee house feel with always friendly faces that seem to remember who you are and what you like. I couldn't ask for better. This could easily be a daily experience that would fail to be tiring. Add to this that it's locally owned and operated, and I willingly provide them some of my hard earned dollars.
Wasn't in the mood for any coffee so they were able to prepare a 16 oz London Fog (earl gray tea, vanilla, and steamed milk) for $5.25. I had severe food poisoning so asked them for an extra cup so I wouldn't get my companion sick, and they happily obliged. Unfortunately they didn't have the common courtesy to make me aware they were going to charge me an extra $0.50 shared/split cup cost. Didn't realize it until I looked my at e-receipt later since I was too focused on being sick. Nice girls who work here but not a fan of the extra cost if not made aware beforehand (or not stated on menu).
Beware of scam! Took two coffees for $18 they charged me $28! Never got a copy of my receipt either and now I need to dispute it with my bank. Ladies add themselves extra tips you're not aware of!

Really high quality drive through coffee. Be prepared to wait awhile if there's a line of cars. You can order from either side.
