Coffee shop culture is relatively sparse on the island when compared to those originally from the mainland. This gem however holds its own quite well. With excellent coffee, generously portioned food this place is an outstanding place to escape your home office.
The downstairs can be noisy with people milling about but head on upstairs and you will find a far calmer and artistic atmosphere. While AC ports are somewhat limited the wifi is solid. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a change of scenery or a solid cup of coffee. Cheers!

Always friendly staff, good coffee, and decent little Cafe bites.
Lots of space to spread out and study for an exam or write an email. Parking isn't usually an issue, and is only 1 dollar for the first 2 hours.

I had a large coffee made in my own cup. Unfortunately, while the coffee flavor was nice, the iced latte tasted watered down. Not even overly creamy like milk, but thin. I usually ask for light ice and I didn’t because it was enough to be asking that they put it in my travel tumbler. But I watched them pour in the espresso and I think it was maybe one or two shots, but probably not enough for the large size. So I’d try it again but do light ice and maybe a medium or small.
The bagel dishes are all over $10. I don’t do big breakfasts because I’m just not that hungry first thing, and I’d like an option of just a toasted bagel with cream cheese.
There’s lots of seating and it seems to be the best option of the several coffee shops in the shopping center for sitting and reading or working on a computer.

Good food, coffee/tea/beverage menu and baked goods. The menu is very well rounded and eclectic like someone made a list of all their fav foods from different places in a menu. Great place to hang out with friends for vegans and non-vegans alike. The counter service was fast and efficient.

Morning Brew is a new addition to Salt in Kakaako. They have full meals as well as coffee and tea. They also have a loft and plenty of seating. The walls also feature local artwork. Great local alternative to Starbucks.

I like this coffee shop. It's more like a cafe. The vibe is good. They play good music, though they could turn it down a bit. Not the place to make a phone call because of the volume. They have good coffee. The pour overs are great. The lattes and fancy drinks leave more to be desired. Also hearing the kitchen music inflated with the cafe music is super annoying. My biggest gripe about this place is the noise!

Really nice interior decor, very modern but cozy. Enjoyed our Belgian waffle, plain bagel, and a delightful latte. They validated for parking in the SALT garage. Great stop for a quick, delicious bite.

Coffee is delicious, try the German mocha. Same with the hot chocolate! Also, the hashbrowns waffle is good. It has lots of onions and other stuff mixed in. It comes with a pink sauce that I'm guessing is salsa and sour cream? Its tasty with ketchup and hot sauce instead.

Breakfast bagel was amazing! Service was great. Menu had lots of options. Space was very roomy. A whole vibe. Not a single thing I didn’t like about this place.

Coffee was okay, the gf oat cakes were superb! Huge place to hangout or work in Kaka’ako.
