The owners are incredibly friendly. The food is so so good. The lemon grass sandwich is great. My favorite is the pork chops. We’ve come back several times.

Oh my goodness. I randomly tried this place because my usual coffeeshop was crowded. Best thing ever. As soon as I walked in, I was pleasantly greeted by the owners. Like walking into my grandparents home, happy to see and feed me, lol. They are so sweet, so chatty, so proud of their cafe. Tried the iced mocha and fried spring rolls. They even added a free mandarin orange cuz they’re that sweet. Even the glass of water they served was lovingly crafted.

The food, coffee, mandarin, and even the icy glass of water were delicious! I’m very very particular about my coffee and spring rolls, and I’m pretty sure they read my mind to make them exactly how I want. Spring rolls were so good, I cried a little. Iced mocha was so good, rich, velvety creamy that it made me close my eyes, inhale deeply, and put my hand over my heart. Shet, I never do that. Ever.

Overall, this place and the adorable owners are such hidden gems that everyone must visit. I’ll be coming back several times a week now ♥️♥️♥️

HORRIBLE. We got watery horrible “shakes” and then got overcharged the wrong price that was listed as 4.50 on the menu . She then told me it wasn’t the updated price . Super unprofessional. And horrible they didn’t see how watery and disgusting the drink was

Very friendly service from aunty. Their house special Thai coffee was very strong and delicious.

I've been coming to the Insomnia once to twice a week for the past 4 years. It's one of the best priced eateries in Honolulu! Good foods and nice service from the couple! The best part is no MSG used here, which is a PLUS 👍👍

This place have great ambiance and yummy food all year long. Their spicy lemon grass chicken is to die for. This is one of the places me and my husband miss since we moved out of Hawaii. Also, we miss you insomnia, that is how much we love your food and customer service. So, thank you.
