Decent coffee (americano ; the coffee was made well, but the beans lacked much interest in flavour) though a bit dear ($4.50 for a 10oz), cosy outdoor sitting area tucked up next to the hotel (cute how the Panaiolo theme ties in with The Equus hotel), not exactly the... warmest of staff members.

The breakfast crunch wrap was awesome, the Da Hi smoothie delicious, and the people working there were so friendly and kind. Best little cafe you'll find.

Super disappointed in this place. I’ve lived in the building for three months, and had lots of opportunities to attempt to visit their establishment. They can’t seem to keep staff, and they’re never open on time. (Often 45+ late, so you’re talking almost 8 am for a coffee shop.) They also vary when they close their kitchen, so even tho they advertise as having lunch sammie’s and they’re open till 1p, I’ve never been able to get one because at 10:45 I’m told the kitchen is already closed. Thank god for the delicious, friendly, and always open when they say they will be Acai Bowl place (tropic tribe) downstairs, which is where everyone should go instead.

Great little coffee shop, nice staff - Happy and energetic. Breakfast sandwiches and snacks are nice. It's attached to the hotel and up the stairs. Pool in back, after 230 it's a bar! ASK FOR THE LEGEND

Small local coffee shop! Just what I was looking for. Yummy espresso drinks with breakfast items cooked to order. I had the a hot caramel macchiato and thier breakfast burrito. Delicious on both counts!

Continuing on my path to knock out those bucket list places I've tagged on Yelp before departing Island. Da HI Brew hits the spot! Da HI Brew adjoins the Equus hotel and doubles as a bar at night (courtesy of the barista). Da HI Brew is a cozy spot up a flight of stairs right off of the street in Waikiki. It is close enough to my hotel, and the food is good enough where I might knock this place out one or two more times before I depart. The vibe is awesome, the barista was awesome, the chill reggae music was awesome. I ordered a large iced americano (mainly because the iced comes in 20oz and a 4th shot). The bacon bagel w/ cheddar stuck out to me and after a quick description from the barista, I ordered one. It is an everything bagel with stacks of bacon and layered with cheddar; she downplayed the amount of bacon and cheddar and it was better than I expected. Imagine unicorns jumping from rainbows that end in massive pots of gold... yeah, most excellent. If there is a place that inspires happy feelings and fun, it is Da HI Bar!

I don’t understand where the 5-star reviews come from. I ordered latte and avocado toast. It’s the worst latte I’ve ever had. Feels like a mix of milk and coffee and no latte art at all. Might due to their barista left? Avocado toast wasn’t crispy at all, hard to chew. Not recommended.

Da HI Brew is amazing! The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was great, and the location is perfect. Definitely will come back again during our stay here.

BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH i’ve ever had. I asked for the breakfast bagel but on the panini bread. They made it perfectly. Will be going here everyday on my vacation. 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

Great Flat White coffee. Fantastic food. The breakfast burrito (pressed in a panini press) is a painterly loaded with egg and potato. Amazing. Affordable. Will be back!
