A great price for excellent quality roasts. I got some of the Kauai Coffee blend shipped to LA this month, and a couple of days ago, I finally got the chance to try it. I was first introduced to Hanalei Coffee when I visited the islands back in 2018, and I couldn't be happier that they offer shipping to the Mainland. Now that I've expanded my palate, I can say with certainty that it's silky smooth, and consistent as ever. Worth the price. It's much better quality than artisanal LA blends, like Cafecito Organico. This isn't to say that Cafecito has bad roasts, but that theirs just pale in comparison.
Thanks, Tom! Thanks, guys!
Cheers!

We had the coffee in Kuaui and loved it. Found website and found it easy to manuver, place order and pyament, all so easy. Coffee is pricey, but well worth the cost.

Definitely on the expensive side, but well worth it. Fresh made pastries local coffee local bread can't go wrong. Come early or get here late because it's packed usually.

They have decaf espresso if you’re trying to break your caffeine addiction 😬👌🏼

Note that Hanalei Coffee Roasters (hanaleicoffeeroasters.com) has moved to 2976 Aukele Street 106 Lihue, HI 96766. Hanalei Bread Company (hanaleibreadco.com) currently occupies this building and sells their coffee, but note that we close at 12:30pm. We've been trying to get Hanalei Coffee Roasters removed from Google Maps at this address, but have not been successful. Sorry for the confusion.

LOVE their coffee The folks at HCR are far cooler and nicer than another Kauai Coffee Co... I just got off the phone with Tom who is not only a hoot, but helped me order some coffee. No wimpy 10 ounce bags… I'm talking a pound of coffee! I ordered two!!

Hours said it was open until 5pm, was closed at 4:30. Doors were open, music was playing, all entrances blocked. Keep your Google business page up to date

The open air building is amazing and I like the interior design. The latte foam was not good though. Very large bubbles in the top third of my cup rather than good micro foam. Worse than Starbucks foam.

Aloha! We love Hanalei and we have been enjoying our morning and afternoon coffee from the Hanalei tea and coffee company for many many years:) After when we return home to Seattle (which of course is a coffee mecca) we continue to order on line the coffee and tea we have grown to love and fortunately cannot live without. And again there is great coffee here in the NW. However this beautiful coffee and tea company from the people who own-it and work it on a daily basis has a special spot in our hearts:) My fear, after the recent flooding that many will stay away from Hanalei valley and the north shore. So please return to Nani Hanalei and support all the local businesses that has suffered. Mahalo Mike

I'll start by saying it's possible that I have become a DFW coffee snob, unbeknownst to me.
Very friendly staff.
Their "fresh brew," which to me should be the best thing on their menu, was only ok. With a name containing "coffee roasters" I guess I expect a lot. The coffee tasted pretty flat, didn't have any depth or complexity, and didn't taste that fresh. I'm no expert but I think it was either carelessly roasted, carelessly brewed, or maybe both.
It could just be how Hawaii coffee is, and that means I just don't like that sort of flavor. But it'd be nice for a shop to be all about freshness: Roasted within two weeks, ground only right before brewing. And it's really surprising to me that a lot of these coffee places, this one included, don't have options for brew methods such as some pour over options or French press. This "fresh brew" was a regular old drip.
Don't have as high of expectations as I did.
