As others have mentioned the hospitality here was just amazing. Sweet people working there who had some great tips and recommendations for us. The food was awesome. We got the Birds of Paradise bowl, one of the best açaí bowls we’ve had so far. The coffee was 10/10 and it looked like they used coffee ice cubes for my iced latte which was a cool touch!
Excellent food and cool shop! Their coffee and breakfast entrees (we loved the acai bowl and burrito) were excellent. Coffee ice cubes for the cold brew were a pleasant surprise and very appreciated.
If you love coffee (and scones and cookies and the like, but especially a good coffee), you will love this cafe. Bright and really cute inside, you can tell this place was opened with aloha, care and happiness. The coffee is AMAZING. They use coffee from their family farm and it is very flavorful and a great ambassador for Kona coffee. The owners and staff are really friendly. They have loyalty cards that they keep can on sight (if you wish), so you never have to worry about forgetting it somewhere.
If you are pining for a good coffee after or on your way to your hike to Captain Cook, commute to the City of Refuge/Green Sand Beach/ Honaunau, or are in the area in general, stop here! This little business is totally worth the visit and you will love the coffee here.
I cannot tell you how very much you need to try their acai bowls. Several varieties, and I don't think you could go wrong with any of them.
My husband had a sandwich, which he was very happy with.
There is indoor seating here, with a few outdoor seats as well. We sat outdoors and it was lovely.
The staff was very friendly and efficient. They were super busy so it took a little longer than usual to get our order but it's totally understandable with the amount of business they were doing.
The coffee here is so amazing (including the coffee ice cubes). We stopped by twice while we were in town. The açaí bowls and paninis are so yummy and the owners are so nice! Also if you’re a Studio Ghibli fan, try to spot the related decor here. :)
Really disappointed with this spot. I waited over 25 mins for a very simple toasted croissant egg, cheese, Turkey sandwich, coffees, pastries and their excuse was they were “busy” - servicing 20 others (AFTER ME) with coffee and açaí bowls. It’s not worth the wait and the staff was rude after I asked nicely about the sandwich. Once it was ready, they threw the sandwich at me, only to see that they burnt it. Coffee, food, and service are not good here. Go some place else!

Great coffee and the site of my first acai bowl.
