Went to Waynesboro to visit antique shops. Burke Perk was recommended by a local antique shop owner, and her recommendation was great! I enjoyed The Club with fries and my husband ordered The Classic Clucker sandwich with fries. My club sandwich was enough for 2 people and came with a generous amount of fries. My husband dove right into his sandwich, and it was all gone before I could take a picture. Service was great considering that today was high school graduation and the majority of the staff was off due to that event. Great atmosphere, nicely decorated and super friendly staff. Definitely recommend. During the week they have a buffet, so I look forward to trying that the next time we visit.
*photo is just the half of my club and fries that I took home😅

No longer a Bake Shop, but they have a fantastic all you can eat buffet. They had 5 different meat selections and literally 8 different vegetables, corn bread, dessert and tea. Real Southern food at a great price! Downtown Waynesboro is full of shops and interesting places to walk around after lunch.

Excellent food and service. The best southern food with real ingredients! From baked fish, fried chicken, lemon chicken, grits, collards, all cooked to perfection, and so much more to choose from!

We were so happy to find Burke Perk in Waynesboro, which is a lovely small town. The menu at Burke Perk has so many tempting, delicious offerings. We ordered the Don Corleone Flatbread Pizza, and a Side Salad. The meal was wonderful and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Our server was fantastic. She was so pleasant and good at her job, never left us lacking for anything. Highly recommend Burke Perk.

Came in for dinner with friends. Most had the hamburgers. Couple of bacon burgers, sliders, mushroom burger and one meatloaf special. All the burgers were very delicious. The meatloaf meal I'm told was wonderful as well but the raves were for the mixed veggies that came with. Loved the hand cut fries too!! Didn't get pics because I was too hungry to remember. Oh well.

My husband and I stopped here while passing through Waynesboro last week. If it wasn’t an hour and a half away I would dine here once a week. I had been craving good southern cooking that didn’t come from my own kitchen for quite sometime and I truly felt like a child at my grandmothers table. We had the buffet (which typically I avoid at restaurants) because the variety seemed appealing and the smells were heavenly. Not a single regret. Fresh, tasty, perfectly prepared. I had the chicken fried steak, yellow squash, collards, and rice w gravy. Delicious!

The manager was a complete witch!! She acted very inconveniened that we were even there! The burger I ordered was super burnt and cold even after coming out 30 to 44 minutes after we ordered (3 entrees no complicated orders). There was nobody else in the restaurant. When we told the waitress the burger was burnt we caught attitude from her. The manager was "at the store" per the waitress and we saw her in the back of the restaurant. Very disappointing 😞
