Another Broken Egg Cafe

Horrible seating logistics!!! It doesn’t look like it matters if you check in online or in person. We checked in online and watched people that arrived after us get sitting first. Past the seating; the service was outstanding and our food delicious.

Good stuff first ☺️ The service was excellent👍 My first time dinning there and everyone was over the top friendly. 2 thumbs up!!

Not so good 🥺 The food and coffee were just ok for me. I am a WH kinda guy so my rating is based on a comparison of my favorite place for breakfast. The coffee was too strong for me, reminds me of Starbucks. If you like SB's coffee you will like ABEC's. I like simple, coffee, eggs, some fried meat, hash browns or grits, and a waffle. ABEC has a wide variety of different menu items, some like breakfast food, some not so...at least for me. And finally I am frugal with my resources so ABEC is out of my price range for breakfast food😲 Breakfast food is not very expensive so I am thinking that a portion of the meal price includes the setting and franchise fee.

I do however recommend giving this new place a chance by trying them out and drawing your own conclusion. I also highly recommend going during a weekday early in the morning. One server told us that there was a 3 and half hour wait time 😱 Sunday morning.

Absolutely love that there are gluten friendly options for pancakes and French toast!!!!
The service was superb as well as the food and the atmosphere is great as well, down to the music.

We went Sunday and it was packed. We waited an hour and 20 mins for food after being seated. Our waitress was great at keeping our coffee filled and even brought beignets since the food was taking so long. The food did arrive cold but we weren’t sending it back based off the wait time. I will say even cold my Omlette was fantastic! I never will give a review off the first try because that experience would have not been great. I will always try a new place again.

Went again and the wait from order to food was 30 mins and my waitress Grace was fantastic! The food was great and hot this time! Def will return and recommend to friends!

Figured id give this place a chance bc ive heard it was terrible and couldnt possibly be as bad as they say... Absolutely horrible service. Hostess told me I'd be next for a seat at the bar and went ahead and sat 2 ladies that came 5 min behind me. Spoke with the host she said she didn't care. That wasn't her problem. I just left. How are you just opening and already trash?

The food only got to our table 90 minutes after we ordered. It was cold and pretty basic. Their grits tasted weird. Their bread was very stale. Go to waffle house instead!

Great food, the team needs some work. Party of two, waited 2+ hours only to be shoved in a tiny table between two parties, might as well have been dining with them. Asked to do something different and the seater argued me down and was extremely condescending. Just wanted a different table, you would have thought I asked her to redo the whole menu from scratch the way she acted toward me. Not acceptable. Hope they can improve, act guest first.

I've been to a couple of Brazilin Steak House restaurants that I might wait an hour to get in... But there hasn't been a chicken I have met yet, that lays an egg I would wait 2 hours + to eat. Simply foolish.......

I had brunch here yesterday April 14th, 2023 with great friends! We enjoyed the food. The staff and managers were awesome and personable! I can not wait to go back!

We went here for a late brunch on Sunday, 4/16/23.
We did arrive only 45 minutes before closing time, and they were kind enough to seat us. However, that was the best part of the experience.
I ordered a hot chocolate to start, but it barely tasted of chocolate.
After ordering our mains, it took 75-90 minutes for our food to arrive. I ordered the salmon benedict which came on a cheap bagel, but otherwise it tasted okay. However the grits had a weird peaty flavor, reminiscent of a cheap scotch.
The one redeeming factor of our experience was our server, Nick.

TLDR; I recommend going to Waffle House for a good breakfast.
