Soooo disappointed. The donut shop with no donuts. Arrived shortly after the doors opened on a Saturday to find no donuts available. After waiting about 15 min finally some came out. Only sugar and glazed available of the over 25 types listed on menu?? Some comments I heard from customers as we waited. "Where are the donuts", "I have to go to work", "I just want a glazed donut", "Do you have you have Boston cream......" Response from employee was we make those later in the day. This shop could learn from The 80's Fred the baker of Duncan's..... "Time to make the donuts"

What a beautiful bakery!!! Love the retro themed counter and milk glass decor. Every single thing we tried was absolutely delicious! The cathead biscuit with cheese and jalapeño and scallions was a top fav, along with the homer donut, the pop tart, and a blueberry biscuit. The staff was super friendly!

Let's start from first appearances. Nice building. Very clean. Parking....terrible.
I was there at 815am and there was very little selection. Pretty much zero selection. But the food i did get was tasty. Very good. But, unfortunately not good enough for the outrageous pricing. I realize this is a island with millionaires and billionaires. But $10 for a biscuit and a pecan cinnamon roll thing. Crazy. I will not be back solely bc of pricing.

The brioche donuts are the most amazing thing I’ve ever eaten! Unreal! The biscuits are out of this world. The cutest bakery with the nicest staff! Can’t wait to visit again next summer!

Visited with family including two kids. Good selection of donuts and other items, plus coffees. Really nicely decoration, and the donuts were great. Quite a small place and car parking is limited.

First class bakery and atmosphere. Fresh and great tasting- donuts/brioche, cinnamon rolls unlike any others around. The decor is fresh and inviting. Staff is fr, and owner is around and customer focused. What luck to have this open during a pandemic. A ray of sunshine.

I like Dulce Dough. The donuts are delicious, the shop is very cute, and the owners are nice people who do a lot for our community. I'm glad you're here! However, I have some suggestions that would make it much more likely that I'd return for another visit.
1. Please post a sign encouraging/requiring customers to wear masks, and ask your staff to do the same. When I was in there, I'd say the minority of customers (about 1/3) had on masks-and it was crowded! I was very anxious waiting in such a packed space and debated leaving, but was buying donuts as a special request for my child's birthday. Similarly, ask staff to wear sturdier masks and make sure they stay on correctly (over nose, etc.)
2. Provide an outdoor waiting area. It would have eased congestion (and virus transmissibility) if people could wait outdoors for their orders. But there wouldn't have been a way to hear your name called. Please consider a simple speaker system or similar so that people can hear their name called outside. This would also reduce the shouting from the person distributing orders.
3. As much as possible, leave the door open to increase air flow.
4. Not necessarily Covid-related, but one more thought. You have a great variety of donuts, but most of the ones we like the best weren't available when we got to the counter. I totally understand that making donuts takes time, but I'd suggest posting that day's donuts. You don't have to offer all 35 (or however many) each time. Or if you make certain ones at certain times, post that info, too. I saw a lot being prepped in the back, but...overall, it just wasn't clear what was available or when.
For example, many bakeries will post that day's rotating selection, so you know what you have to choose from. Then there are placards in the display case to help you identify. If a certain flavor is out, it would be helpful to know if it's gone for the day or simply a little longer wait until the ones you want are available. (I'm sure you know these ideas--just suggesting that you add a bit more in display or communication to make the experience better from the customer side.)
Again, I appreciate your business and hope you succeed. I'm sure a lot of these pieces will be sorted out in due time. I'm just concerned about the rising pandemic numbers, and hope we can all do our part to keep our community safe. Best of luck!

Bakery with specialty items. Different things at different times. Last time I got a doughnut. Today I got a cinnamon roll. They both tasted pretty much the same. The icing on the cinnamon roll was a good different. It was a very sweet but light tasting icing. Not much cinnamon taste though. They have some random GF items but they put them in the same case as the regular items and staff has tried to package them in the same box. Probably jot a good idea if you have Celiac or a gluten allergy. Prices are steep. $5 for a cinnamon roll or flavored cathead biscuit. $4 for most doughnuts.
