This place is soooo hit or miss. The first time I went here, it was delicious. Then I went again and ordered a new drink they had on the menu called the Shelby. I asked no coconut, but could definitely taste it when I received it. When I kindly asked to get a new one, the lady was so confused as to the fact that I asked for no coconut even tho she was the one who took the order. So she remade it, but it seemed as though she did it as quickly as possible because nothing was mixed, there were like 2 ice cubes, making everything lukewarm instead of cold, and I ended up throwing it away because it tasted awful. Basically, don't divert off the beaten path with this. Get something normal and not a fancy drink basically.

Amazing authentic french cafe. Easily the best croissant I've ever had, and the crepes and sandwiches were phenomenal. I wish i could eat here daily. I ordered a latte online for pick up, but when I showed up the espresso machine was down, however the owner was extremely friendly and accommodating and gave me other similar options too choose from. I see why this is a local favorite!

Get. The. Classic. Sweet. Crepe.
TWICE!
Delicate crepe, lovingly flipped and buttered. A sprinkle of sugar, a squeeze of lemon, flip, fold, a dusting of powdered sugar and a lemon wedge to go.
Perfection!
Merci! We will be back again!

Coming from Europe; I miss the good quality bread that seems hard to find in the US. Luckily, Le Café Gourmet is an exception. It is a REAL bakery where they actually get up early to make bread from scratch, unlike the plethora of other "bakeries" that literally just bake ready-made factory-provided bread (they don't show you this), while still charging gourmet prices. Café Gourmet might just be the only place that does this in the entire Southeast. Especially their croissants are on another level. Their croissants are a little pricey, but I understand the cost involved in importing ingredients to make them, they are worth the money. My favourite is the Versailles sandwich, with carefully balanced toppings that compliment each other perfectly. As other reviews have stated, the crepes are also great. My only note of critique would be their sliced cheese, which isn't quite of the same quality as the other ingredients. Regardless, a great little café for which I am happy to live in Savannah.

Awesome sandwiches if you're a sandwich fan, and great, fresh daily pastries for the rest. They're ironing out some kinks in service but the ladies are sweet.

The coffee and atmosphere was great, the crepes were just ok.

Yum! This place was hoppin' right after we got there when right when it opened. Delicious crepes and really yummy croissants. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic food and wonderful service. We got both crepes and the breakfast sandwiches on croissants and they were phenomenal. Fresh ingredients and wonderful flavors. The service is truly wonderful also. I highly recommend this for breakfast/brunch/lunch!

Can't remember we went to so many in Savannah. Everything, everywhere was fantastic.

What a tiny gem!! We stopped in for lunch and were not disappointed. Coffees were delicious and freshly made to order. The sandwiches were tasty and generous. The desserts were melt in your mouth. The croissants were perfectly flaky and buttery. The ladies were so nice. We lingered over second cups of coffee. Seating is limited, there is outdoor seating as well, and the decor is so cute! We will definitely make this a regular lunch when in town.
