Black Rifle Coffee - River Street

So many options of coffee, ground and whole, to choose from. They have clothing and other merchandise as well. But what I loved was the coffee bar. I wasn't sure what I wanted to drink. So I told them the flavors that I wanted and told them to surprise me. It was great and hit the spot and the hotel coffee wasn't that great.

If you are unfamiliar with this business, you can look them up. We chose to support them because of their cause and mission. It's a bonus that the coffee is actually really good.

The coffee was so good I went back twice within a few hours. I tried other coffee in Savannah at a few places and to say they went unfinished by me would be an understatement. And typically I will drink anything coffee related. Iced and hot coffee and lattes were great here. We had some of their hocus pocus themed drinks and they were delicious. The Lemonade is a bit on the tart side. We didn't get to try their chai because they had ran out.
If you want beans or grounds they have a nice display with a book that has general flavor descriptions. As we have to drive a couple hours to get here we naturally bought a few bags. So far all of them make up at home in our espresso and cold brew machines beautifully. They have a wonderful smooth taste no bitter bite, the nutty flavor you get in coffee is a lot smoother and less pow, and playing around with it its hard to get it to even be watery if you use less grounds you'd have to make an Americano or let your ice melt like crazy before drinking (I really like experimenting with different coffees and trying how they taste made differently).

Favorite coffee shop in Savannah! BRCC River Street has awesome baristas, provides a welcoming environment and is always coming up with new drink ideas! If you can't do the normal ingredients, or want a slight twist, they have plenty of options to alter drinks as needed. Don't want coffee? They have various teas and their smoothies are always great! There are a lot of good coffee shops in Savannah but this one by far provides the best overall experience. And they love animals!
